Worth seeing. Nice little town. Viator is requiring a minimum character number for reviews and this just fills it up. That's annoying
Elsbeth did a great job translating in both English and Spanish for our split group. She was patient even when guests were not following the rules.
The shops and museums were great. Come hungry lots of food to try.
The day-tour to Brugge was a highlight. I formative and well organized. The old city itself, stunning and an absolute must-see when in Europe. Going in cold month allowed us walking and moving space even though yhere were already a lot of yourisys. It was really a great trip, great guide and this tour is very highly recommended.
Well done and Most efficient trip.. thanks to Marianna and Ricardo for a safe, informative trip to this fantastic city
Tour was quite informative. Bus ride was comfortable. Kudos to Mary Anne and our driver. Bruge is a beautiful must visit place. So many picture perfect sites. Delicious Belgian waffles and chocolates. Nice quaint shops. Beautiful medieval architecture. So rich in history.
Beautiful city, although extremely crowded. Lots to see and explore and probably not enough time in the city itself. We traveled by bus from Amsterdam and it was a 3 hour ride (and 3 hours to get back). This left only 6 hours in the city itself. Tour guide did give us a good overview walking tour and excellent suggestion for lunch.
The small downtown is beatiful... The old buildings, the churches are worth it... Excelent guide and all the things that she suggested to us were great...
This was an outstanding place to visit. It's a few hour bus ride from Amsterdam and well worth the time, as it is an old city with history and charm. The tour and city square are worth seeing alone, but there are numerous additional cathedrals and buildings that will keep you occupied for a long time.
A very good guide. Professional and communicable, spoke two languages English and Spanish. A Comfortable bus. An interesting excursion.
This day trip involves a long bus ride and a late return to Amstrdam but it was worth it. The bus was comfortable and the guide gave interesting commentary on the countryside and the towns we passed. Once we reached Bruges we explained that we walk too slowly to keep up with a guided walk so she gave us clear directions on where to go and how to get a taxi back to the bus pickup area at the end of the afternoon.
Bruges old town is storybook pretty. You could spend hours taking pictures. The central square is lined with cafes. Be sure to try the beer, the Flemish stew, and the national dish--frites. There are a number of interesting museums but be aware most close at 5 and some (like the "frites museum" do not permit entrance after 4:15.
