We were met by the driver who had been waiting for about a half hour due to flight delays. He was very polite and friendly, also took care of our baggage. Big clean car. Well driven. Having the BTS and connecting airport link make Bangkok a city you can quickly navigate without traffic or stress, so I find I can tolerate staying much longer than say American cities (with atrocious mass-transit systems!). Overall, having the BTS means you can effectively enjoy the city and do business without the insanity of driving and traffic.

Used BTS to get around to a few stops and to the airport. It was very easy to use. Kiosks and cashiers are available. We found it cheaper and quicker to use Grab but BTS is also a good option.

As someone who spends everyday on the London Tube system I can honestly say this is a pleasure. Stations are clean and organised, trains run on time and the train has air con so even in rush hour its not a chore to travel on. Very cheap, our longest journey which was about 12 stations was just over £1.

Getting around on the Skytrain in quite easy and cheap. The station staff speak English and all signs are also in English. On the trains the announcements are also in English. One should use sometime at the station to plan the journey

Ticket vendors spoke English. System was easy to figure out and use. Once on the train, the newer ones changes lights as they go down the line, station to station, so you know where you are and when to get off. Very helpful
