Know More about this tour

Paris of the East is one of the most famous sentences used when describing Budapest at night. The magnificent buildings and sights all glowing and illuminated at night just give this city a totally different feeling than what youll experience during the day. Our Night Stroll is designed to take you along a path where you see the best parts of the city by night for some of the most terrific photo ops.

Youll not only learn about these grandiose sights but hear the stories and the history surrounding them with legends from the ancient past to up until very recent history. Everything will be explained during our relaxed and pleasant stroll in the illuminated city.
At the end of the tour we cap off the evening with a one hour boat cruise ticket on the Danube with a free drink of choice from the drink list!

Our walking tours are small personal groups and generally do not have more than 15 participants, making them interactive and personal and giving you plenty of chances to ask questions and get to know your guide plus hit them up for local tips of where to go and what else to do.

We had a great time with Petra, who showed us around Budapest with a great history lesson. It was beautiful to see the city at night; I felt like I learned so much and got a taste for all Budapest has to offer!

Edith was very knowledgeable and had very good information to share about Budapest. A great trip to do as an introduction to the city and a night river cruise must be done

Balint was an excellent guide for the walking tour, a leisurely amble around some key sights and a great way to find out more about the city. It’s all the little things that are added in, which you can’t get from the guide books! We felt we were walking round with a friend, it was so relaxed. Buildings from the river looked stunning at night. Well worth doing for a different view.

Guide did a great job commenting on the many sites we visited. Friendly a very knowledgeable. The cruise was also good. The view of the city at night from the Danube was memorable.

This was a very nice tour. Just two of us with Kopp. He was very informative and had a great sense of humor. As Americans he hit a couple of things that were off the beaten path that pertained to Hungary/US history. The night river cruise had amazing views. Would definitely suggest this tour.

Our guide was an extremely knowledgeable young man who seemed to enjoy my adult sons as much as we enjoyed him and the tour. The 2 hour walk did not seem long at all because we stopped to look at historic stops while hearing the history about the city. It was a great way to get aquainted with the city to see where we wanted to revisit and ended with a very relaxing boat ride to see the spectacular city of lights. I would highly recommend this tour and our guide was excellent!

The walking tour was amazing -- made more so by the guide who is a history and English teacher ; his efforts to engage the small cohesive group were outstanding . Very well enjoyed.

Tomas was an excellent tour guide. The history and beautiful architecture was fascinating. We also loved the sightseeing boat tour.

Our young tour guide didn't share any more about Budapest that what I had already read in a guide book. We didn't see much on the walking part--stood around in several places. Not sure if guide was filling in, if it was first time or what, but you can do the Danube cruise part by itself for less than half the cost.
