Really knowledgeable guide who gave us so much context for the sights, the history of the area as well as Hungary in general. Really worth doing this is our first activity during our visit!

Our guide Monica was the best!! After cancelling our initial tour and rescheduling it for the next day, Viator went out of the way to make the tour as easy and accessible as possible. A great company and quite reliable. Couldn't have been more pleased with our guide and the service provided.

Krisztina was a knowledgeable and honest tour guide. She shared just the right amount of history with us. We were on data overload from 3 weeks of traveling but Krisztina was so interesting. The Buda side of the river was beautiful and appealing.

Balint from Absolute Tours was a wonderful, fun and knowledgeable guide through this very unique district with so much to see, so much history to take in and lots of really interesting places pointed out to be sure to explore on our own. We had a lovely morning tea at one of Balint's favourite cafes while listening to more tales of yesteryear in Buda. St. Matthias Church is magnificent - you have to go yourself to appreciate it. The views over the Danube and Pest are fantastic; there are so many lunch venues to choose from. Not part of the Tour, but do not miss "Hospital In The Rock" in the district, the Military Museum and so much more! It's fun to ride on the funicular up to the Castle District too. You need a whole day to cover the Castle District, but the Walking Tour was a fantastic starting point. Thanks Balint

Great tour and our guide Cristina was wonderful! The highlight of the tour was definitely visiting St. Mathias church, the views from the Fisherman's Bastion and the break with snacks at a local shop. The other pleasant surprise was that this tour said 2.5 hours but it actually lasted a bit over 3 hours. It would have been good to know this for sure, since we had another tour afterwards, which limited our time getting there. Overall a very nice experience.

Kristine was our guide around Castle hill She was welcoming and gently lead us through the history of Budapest, and St. Mathias church. She answered all our questions and her calm demeanor made our stroll on the hill so very pleasant. I would recommend Kristina as a tour guide anytime!!!

On the Budapest Castle Walking Tour we had the opportunity to visit Matthias Church and learn about its history. It is definitely one of the most unique and most beautiful churches we have seen in Europe. It was nice that the Fisherman's Bastion was included in the tour, but we felt slightly rushed through this portion we would have enjoyed more time to walk the entire length to enjoy the view of the city. The coffee and cake was an enjoyable break and chance to relax. Our tour guide, George, was very knowledgeable about the history of Budapest and we enjoyed having him as our guide.

Generally the tour was ok. We visited Fishermen Bastion, Matthias Church, Royal Palace, The guiding could have been richer in information and stories, make the whole thing more unforgettable. But it is possible for a foreign tourist the info was sufficient, I am complaing just because as local I know more about these buildings, its history and just because off this base, I wanted even more.

The guide was amazing, with lots of knowledge and comments far from the basic, well speaking, details, photos, he always adapted the tour to our needs, explained everytihing in na enthousiastic way, stop at the end with beverage and cake was the very best too

The guide I can't remember his name was great. My family ended up having a private tour since no one else had booked on this day. The tour guide was very personable and informative. I would defiantly recommend this tour!
