  • We met infront if the Danube opera house and followed our leader to the boat, until then everything was fine. We then were put as a group in an area on the lower side of the deck. Our host, I believe her name was Mercedes, greeted us. After a while my colleague asked her what is upstairs and Mercedes told her 'Go and check', first inapropriate answer! after Mercedes came back to pour the wine I think she thought she was at an October fest, since she could not even pour the wine, we asked her to explain again what type of wine she was pouring and she barely answered, when asked again she rudely told us 'read the paper'... Probably it was her last day of work or had some personal problems... We will never know because we will not come back for sure! I have been organising tours in my country for wine tasting and this one was horrible! It could be a problem with the host since most people commented positively... we opted for this tour because of the positive comments we read on trip advisor... P.S the breadsticks are the only snacks offerred we ate them still, to toast for Mercedes : Not worth the 30 euros for 'wine tasting' its a pity since we were 3 agents checking to see if the activity was worthwhile. In the meantime we would like to congratulate the Music guys, because they are the ones who kept us a bit entertained, as well we would like to thank Sabina for replacing Mercedes, even though we are sure she was influenced by Mercedes against us.

  • Al no tomar el tour con la cena por la hora y la cantidad de comida que hay en el menu no hay opción de pedir ningún acompañamiento para el wine tasting

  • This tour was amazing!

  • I choose this tour because I thought it would a great way to see the city at night and to taste local wines. We were downstairs on the boat and there was a large crowd upstairs having the buffet. In order to appreciate the city I had to go up to where the other people were eating and go outside in a small area. We were inside in a crowded room. Just not what I expected.

  • We loved this cruise. Budapest at night is gorgeous. The wine tasting is relaxing and enjoyable. However, the show stopper was the violinist trio! The lead violinist is unbelievably gifted with his talent. I would highly recommend this cruise.

  • It was fun! Be sure to get outside early to snag a spot, otherwise you're stuck inside which isn't as pretty

  • We had a great experience on our cruise definitely a great value for the money. We missed our group as the meeting timing/location weren't super clear. However, we were wonderfully accommodated by another boat with a similar Viator tour. We enjoyed the wines, views and hospitality. Highly recommend to anyone traveling in Budapest make sure you're clear about where /when to meet and early to the meeting spot!

  • This beautiful cruise on the Danube while tasting wines from Hungary was great fun. We watched the sun go down and the then the lighted buildings along the river. If we had any comment, other than fabulous it would be that there was too much wine! What a delightful evening.

  • Nice boat, nice staff. The 'drinks and cruise' option would have been better for us than the wine tasting.

  • Awesome views of the city. The doorman, however, felt the need to lecture me for not following the correct ticket procedure.
