  • Unfortunately we went in December and the gardens were covered in snow. I'm sure the gardens are beautiful in the summer when it is blooming. The Christmas lights were nice but I would have preferred the gardens in bloom

  • Saw the Butchart Gardens many years in the Spring and they were excellent. I have always wanted to see them in the winter and they were fantastic. I would highly recommend anyone to experience the Butchart Gardens in Winter.....so pretty.

  • The ride from Victoria to Butchart Gardens was very informative. The driver pointed out many sites along the way. We were on our own in Butchart Gardens and there are no words to describe how beautiful it is there. We enjoyed being there tremendously.

  • The driver was fabulous and the gardens are spectacular. Do not miss the opportunity to visit them and treat yourself to lunch.

  • Absolutely stunning. Well worth a visit. The open air concert was great and the fireworks spectacular.

  • Coach driver was very helpful and provided lots of information and commentary on the trip to the gardens. Gardens themselves were spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

  • Amazing gardens. Well worth the trip!!!!!!!

  • We were worried about catching the shuttle from the cruise port when our ship was delayed getting in. As it turned out, the shuttle had left so as not to delay other customers totally understandable. I had called when we found out about the delay but just got voicemail. However, one of the port helpers took us to the tour office and the manager got us a lift to catch up with the shuttle. Our hero! We got to the Gardens and had a great tour, and made it back to the ship in plenty of time. I only wish that we'd had longer at the Gardens, but we'll just have to come back to Victoria on a future trip :-.

  • Outbound driver was great - so knowledgeable! Shame that we couldn't hear his commentary whenever the ventilation/cooling system was on. The fan noise completely drowned out his voice. Also engine noise in the seats at the back of the bus made it impossible to hear him. A passenger asked the driver to turn up the volume of the audio system but he said that it was already at maximum volume.

  • Beautiful gardens, extremely peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Love it !
