I was able to break this into two days. The tour guide for the Daintree Rainforest made the trip! His name was Carlston. He grew up there and knew the history, the vegetation, and great spots to stop. The Reef adventure was with Reef Experience, one of the better boating companies, as there are many. I felt we received a little more attention and services.

These are two separate tours combined together. The staff/guide/drivers from both tours are very helpful and enthusiastic. During the reef tour, besides snorting/diving, we also have access the glass-bottomed boat. During the Daintree tour, the driver is super, introducing interesting facts of the rainforest to us. Especially, the tour is very long (from 7am-ish pickup time to almost 7pm-ish drop-off time), but he is always very patient.
