Hi Ali!! Thank you very much for the fun and memorable trip we had in Cairo. My sister Giza was extremely happy as she celebrated her birthday at the place where her name originated. Thank you for singing happy birthday to my sister all day long that day! You and the driver (i forgot his name😂 ) had helped me in making her day extra special that day! Thank you ever so much!!

Having but one night in Cairo, we decided to make the best of it. We booked the "Cairo by Night" -tour, which included a ride up the Cairo Tower for some amazing views - a boat ride with one of the classig Felucca's on the Nile - and finally dinner at the "Egyptian McDonalds" El Tahrir. The trip up Cairo Tower is what reduce the overall experience crom 5 to 4 stars. The line to get up was immensly long and slow moving - and it was even worse getting back down. That being said; the views from above when at first you got up there was amazing, and offer lots of photo opportunities. The Felucca ride on the Nile was the highlight of the trip. SO MUCH BETTER to be on board one of these small classic (and soundless) sailboats, than on one of the motorboats with led lights and music blazing. The views of the city from aboard the boat were different, but comparably good to the ones from the tower. You haven't eaten in Egypt before you've eaten Koshari; and a fun way to do that is definitely visiting one of the El Tahrir restaurants. Koshari is the only thing on the menu, but you can spice it up to your liking with different sauces that are put out on the table. Our guide, Ali, spoke very well english and was a really friendly guide and they picked us up at our hotel in a nice and air-conditioned car, with a good driver. All in all I would recommend this trip for one of your nights in Cairo!

Khaled Mamdoh was my tour guide for a second day. There was a bit of an error with the itinerary of the tour I signed up for, not to worry. Khaled and I made up our own itinerary to make sure I hit all the spots I needed to see on my last day in Egypt. Cairo tower had a great panoramic view of the city, the felucca ride on the Nile was very relaxing, and the local lunch spot we went to was an great experience! Keep an open mind, and you will enjoy this wonderful city.
