After a brief lesson in Kanji were taught how to sign our names and then individually selected a word to write. Fun experience and you come away with your very own personally created calligraphies. Fun experience albeit a little rushed. Much later in the day we shared our masterpieces with some Japanese friends who could immediately read them. Would say our teacher helped us pass our lesson.

I did the Calligraphy and Tea Ceremony at the place and both have been a memorable experience. The teachers are really patient and kind. Tea Ceremony shows you the process of making matcha green tea for guests. Calligraphy gives you the opportunity to learn different characters and make a personal gift yourself. Highly recommended!
