Brilliant from start to finish. We’ll worth the money, experience was a unforgettable. Looked after animals with caring staff with a well worked routine. Great way to spend a morning (get there early)

The staff were friendly, it was a nice walk around the dunes from what I actually remember. From the moment we got there we were attacked by mosquitoes, not seen one the whole holiday but here there were hundreds. Had I seen this on a previous review I wouldn’t of gone. Eaten alive, I spent more time slapping myself to even remember the views. I’ve come away with about 40 bites even in Areas clothed. Not sure if it’s seasonal but it was horrendous. Nothing against the company they were pleasant. My 6 year old told me it was her worst idea ever due to the mozzies.

Well organised trip, and very helpful staff. Really enjoyed the experience. Only real fault was lack of signs to the dromedary

It was a great experience! We didn’t have to wait long which perhaps due the time of year. Overall, great experience and a nice time.

Not much to do here so booked camels as something a little different. We bought tickets online and was told to arrive between 9-11 am to get a space. On arrival at approx 0940 there was about 100+ people waiting around. We joined what we thought was the queue and waited approx 30 mins against a shaded wall- thank god for this shade! We then got to the desk and showed our prebooked voucher for this date and was told we would be on the next ride.. which was going to be at 1pm. Slightly caught us off-guard as we didn’t expect to be waiting around for 3 hours. We walked down to the town/shopping centre had a look around and waited until we went back 20 mins to 1. We was then shouted for our number (on ticket given earlier) and sat onto our camel. Ride was fun, was taken around the dunes, not much to look at and very slow however something different for 30 mins. On return you can purchase your picture for €5 (there’s a man who takes two photos of you very quickly 1. Before the camel stands up and 2. Shortly after you set off on your ride, so be aware they will be taken with short notice! All staff are nice and friendly and the excursion is over before you know it. We made the mistake of walking right out of the camel area/up the long road so was unable to get a taxi until we had walked at least a mile. Overall, recommend for something different just don’t be expected to be blown away with excitement. Good value for money and make sure to get there at 0900 if you don’t plan on spending the whole day in maspalomas :)

Uttara was very helpful and giving my family the best price possible. Go to her with any questions if you are unsure

The camel riding itself was enjoyable. We arrived not long after 10am and the queue was huge. Despite having pre-paid tickets, we couldn't get on a camel ride until 1pm, so had to go to the nearby beach to pass the time. The man at the desk said you need to arrive much closer to 9am even if you have a pre-paid ticket as it's pretty much first come, first served. The walk off the main road down to the camel place is also quite tricky terrain with a buggy (a lot of sand and gravel).

Good slow fun, be prepared for a long wait, or to go off and come back later. Despite buying tickets in advance, there is no guaranteed ride time, but do not risk coming without pre-booking as the day had sold out by 10am. We arrived at 9.20 and we’re on the 11.30 ride. Do not wear white, as you may get pretty grubby, and the slow pace does mean you could get pretty hot on the circuit without a hat. Don’t expect camel racing, it’s a gentle pace and nice excursion away from the shops and other tourist attractions.
