Know More about this tour

Do not miss the chance to stroll around Rome with us during our Food and Wine tours with expert local guides!
The meeting point for the Trevi Tour is the statue of Giordano Bruno, in the middle of this colorful square. Your guide will tell you about the controversial story of this man, still an important symbol for the Roman community. Afterwards, you will have a nice experience around the market, where you will taste a lot of fresh Italian products: truffle, pesto, olives pate', balsamic vinegar and so on. Taking one of the tiny streets that lead out from Campo de' Fiori, you will walk towards a very good wine shop, for a taste of local wine and high quality cheese and cured meats. This first part of your tour will give you the possibility to have a rich lunch with wine among the ruins of one of the most ancient theaters of the city!!
The walk proceeds and your guide will conduct you to this charming square: you will be given historical information about its origins, its transformations and the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the masterpiece required to Bernini by the Pope to decorate it.Here you will also try the best Tiramisù in town and discover why this dessert is the Italian most popular dessert worldwide.
Before heading to the Pantheon, close by you will reach one of the best gelato places of this district, and complete the "food part" of your tour with the most amazing coffee you have ever tasted! What about the best preserved temple in Rome? The spectacle you see has been standing right there for almost 2000 years. Your tour leader will show you this building - today called Chiesa di Santa Maria ad Martyres - and explain its peculiarities. Besides being a church, it is also a mausoleum, as it hosts the tombs of some important personalities related to the Italian history.
Crossing the main street of Rome, Via del Corso, you will reach the Trevi Fountain, the last stop of the tour. It took 30 years to complete this enormous marble sculpture, a celebration of the power of water, wanted by the Pope. Completed in the 1725, it is with no doubt one of the best known fountains in the whole world. With the dream of coming back to Rome soon, thousands of tourists throw their coins into this basin! Would you try and see what happens?

Awesome food tour… had many stops with delicious food and drinks at each. Guilla was a fantastic guide, very informative and a lot of fun. Highly recommend this tour.

This is a must do if you go to Rome! It’s the perfect mix of history (just a little) plus amazing food and drink and a great way to get to know this part of the city. I’ve got to say that it was all down to our fantastic guide, Guilia, who was amazing. She was so considerate and organised but also really funny - she made our trip! We were joined with another really friendly group (9 of us in total) and it worked really well. All of the food and drink is delicious and it’s great value for money. Overall I can’t recommend this experience highly enough!

We just had THE BEST time on this tour. It was exactly the right balance of history (just a little), food/drink (lots!) and walking (the right amount.) However, it was our guide, Guilia, who made the whole thing so brilliant - she was funny, considerate and made the whole thing so easy. We honestly wanted to keep her as our tour guide for the entirety of our Rome trip! I hope she gets to read this because she really deserves the credit for making it such a great experience. We were in a group of 9 in total and it was a lovely group, everyone really friendly. All of the food stops were memorable and well organised too. We would recommend this experience to anyone!

This tour was so much fun! It was only 10 of us and we ate like kings and queens. Walking around was great. Our guide, Greta, pointed out so many things that we wouldn't have noticed. It was awesome...so was all of the food that we tasted! We were so full at the end, which was a good thing. Highly recommend!

Despite a wet start to our food tour, we had a blast navigating Camp di Fiori, mixing food, sights and a bit of history. This is a great way to kickoff your stay in Rome and get the lay of the land in and around the city center. Our family favorite was the pizza and the pasta meal in the old theater. Come hungry…Our guide Andrea was a fun and informative. We had a good time with him. This booking is well worth the money!

Excellent experience, we did this our 1st day in Rome. It gave us a great overview of the area, the guide was great about pointing out things and places to come back to. All of the food and drink was delicious.

We had an excellent tour. Our guide Maria was pleasant and knew to explain about both the places where we stopped to eat and the monuments we came across on the way. All the places we went to were lovely and everything was delicious. All the places were special, we have already walked all the streets and they showed us magical gems in the city that we would have missed without the tour and these are not points you want to miss. I'm a vegetarian and adjustments were made for me, I didn't feel like I was missing anything.

Great way to see lots of sights with info on the city while tasting great food. Highly recommend this tour to start a Rome vacation because you will then be able to use the knowledge of food for the rest of your vacation.
