The driver / guide from Sydney to Canberra was very good, but the guide in Canberra was not very good.
-
I enjoyed seeing the war memorial, national museum, and parliamentary building. The tour guide John was excellent.
-
This is a long trip but really worth it. We had an excellent driver which made the trip even more interesting - thanks Vince. The War Memorial is fascinating and the museum interesting, although I was a little disappointed as it has a lot of work going on and you could not see all the exhibits. Proud to visit our Parliament House. Overall an excellent tour.

All parts were good except the communication part for the first pick up that was terribly confusing.
-
Was a very long trip had way too much to do and see. Wss really rushed through sights skipping some things. Would love to have spent more time at war memorial

This kind of long trip can be grueling, but it was well timed, everyone stayed punctual and our driver, Peter, was witty, informative and entertaining (as well as a smooth driver). The use of individual additional guides at the sites in Canberra was excellent (kudos to Kirsten). Very interesting and informative adventure.

It is quite a long journey by bus from Sydney, but Canberra is well worth seeing. We started with a panoramic view from above the city which was a useful introduction. We then visited the ANZAC memorial, a gallery of Australian art, including some aborigine and finished off in the parliament buildings. We had a very knowledgeable guide, but unfortunately she supplied a bit too much detail.

This trip is not worth it at all. The tour guide was absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! She spoke very softly and therefore could not hear anything she said. She hurried us through everything it was really bad. The driver dropped us off blocks from our hotel, after letting every one else off at their hotels and directed us in the wrong direction to walk to our hotel!! We left at 7 am and we got left off at 10 PM!!! WAY TO LONG TO BE ON THIS BUS!!! I do noy recommend this

The visit to the war memorial is a good one. There were too many things to see and learn there. Perhaps more time can be dedicated for us to visit.

Took our American friends for a tour of our Capital and all were really impressed by the great overview we got. A bird's eye view from Mt Ainslie, guided tours by an amazing guide, Bernard, of the War Memorial, Art Gallery and Parliament House, and a quick drive around the embassies were all included. The only downside was the sometimes lack of knowledge of our driver/guide who had unfortunately been given short notice of his duties for that day and had not had time to brush up on his information.
A long day but certainly worth it.
