Try wreck diving in Cancun and live an out-of-worldly experience!
Dive 85 ft beneath the surface to find the "General Anaya", a WW2 Admirable class minesweeper that now lays in the Caribbean. During the winter months, the area gets crowded with eagle rays, giving this dive site yet another attraction.
The fun doesn't stop there! This dive includes two tanks, so after exploring the wreck, your second immersion will be on a vibrant coral reef, giving you the ULTIMATE Cancun diving tour.
With exotic aquatic wildlife and a thrilling atmosphere, all certified divers will be impressed with this Cancun 2-tank dive!
Itinerary:
-This dive is only for certified divers- * Check-in half an hour prior to departure. This 2-tank dive departs at 8 am. Your first immersion (1 tank) will be at General Anaya, a C-58 minesweeper from World War II. Your second dive (2nd tank) will be on a nearby reef, at a depth of 17 meters (55 feet). Departs Wednesday and Friday at 8 am

I did both the MUSE/reef dive and the wreck/reef dive with Aquaworld Cancun and had good experiences. They have a decent sized boat which provides less rocking around in the waves than smaller boats of some of the other dive operators. They gave good explanations before the dives and divided us into smaller groups, each with a divemaster who guided us around. The reefs and underwater life were great. I used my personal regulator, which developed crack in the rubber mouthpiece on the first dive and had to switch to my backup regulator. After the dive, I showed it to the divemaster - turns out they had replacement mouthpieces right on the boat and he quickly repaired it on the spot (at no extra charge) so I would have both regulators working for the second dive. They bring along enough staff to both help divers get into and out of the water. I was impressed with their enthusiasm, local knowledge, attention to detail and safety awareness. Cold bottelled water and snacks were provided on the boat.

First time to dive with a company and not my buddy. Great dive for certified divers. I was well taken care of and got a great experience. Swam through a shipwreck and even through a reef tunnel! You could opt out of the more adventurous parts if needed. Great crew. Great experience.

The dive team does an amazing job and all are very friendly and safety conscious for all level divers. aqua world is a large company with a very personal experience on the boat. We are avid divers, and had two perfect days of diving. The reef and fish are beautiful, We enjoyed our dives and will repeat! Our fish friend “Jesus” was in the water as a baby and it shows how much he loves scuba diving now. He’s a great diver,and uses minimal air-aqua-man!

We had an amazing experience with Aquaworld! Booking was very straight forward and the entire operation was on time, very efficient and accomodating to make sure each person had what they needed. We did a 2 tank dive during the day as well as a night dive on a different day. Hector was with us for both days and was incredibly attentive and made sure we were safe and also had a great time. We cannot recommend him highly enough! The night dive in particular was such a unique opportunity that we all really enjoyed and we can't wait to do it again! Very grateful for the experience.

We were in town for a conference and wanted to do some diving. This place was located very close to our resort so we chose to dive with AquaWorld. They were very friendly and helpful from the check in to the diving. We are certified divers of various levels (OW to DM) so the attention to detail was appreciated. They split the boat into small groups so it really felt personalized. Hector was our guide for the dives. He was fun and checked in to make sure that we were ok. The reefs aren't the best (having been diving all over the world) but there was lots to see and the wreck had some great swim throughs. We also did a night dive which ended up being just the 3 of us and Hector. Definitely recommend this operation.

We had the BEST time! It was so convenient and they picked us up right at the beach at our resort. We did an hour class in the pool the day before and then did a dive that’s around 35 feet. We saw a sea turtle, sting rays, tons of fish and a barracuda! Our guides were fantastic and we even got photos and videos! Highly recommend!

Dives were amazing, loved that safety came first on the dives. The crew was wonderful and helped with every step. Our dive leader routinely checked on us and counted to ensure we were together. The equipment was in good shape.
