Know More about this tour

First, head to Monaco and Monte Carlo. Magnificent palaces, casinos, luxury shops, and exotic gardens are waiting for you. The guide will tell you the fascinating story of a sovereign state between Nice and the Italian border, that perfectly captures the essence of the Cte d'Azur with its palaces in the rococo style, lunch gardens, world famous casinos and glamour of the royal family. By car, you will drive along the famous Formula 1 track. You will visit the Monte Carlo casino and can enjoy an optional walk around the Japanese Garden. There will also be some free time during which you can see the changing of the guard in front of the palace of the Prince, take pictures or buy souvenirs.

Next, head to Eze. Take a stroll through the old town with your guide. This old village is huddled around a substantial medieval fortress, with rocks and houses of similar hues blending into each other.

Afterwards, your guide will take you to the Fragonard perfume factory near the town of Eze. It offers you the opportunity to learn all the stages of perfume production. Your guide will take you for a tour of the factory. Make sure you peruse the factory shop, where you can treat yourself to a wonderful new perfume (own expense).

Your guide will then take you to Cannes. By car, you will drive along the world-famous Boulevard de la Croisette. The guide will tell you the fascinating story of Cannes and the Lrins islands are located offshore. Since 1834 a whole host of famous personalities have helped to establish the city's reputation. In the past the aristocracy would spend the winter here. Nowadays celebrities flock here during the film festival, which is one of the most important events in the cinema world. There will also be some free time during which you can see the Film Festival Palace, take pictures on the famous red road or buy souvenirs.

The last stop of your trip is the top of Cannes hill near one of the oldest churches, Notre-Dame-de-l'Esprance de Cannes where you will be able to make a memorable photo with the view of the entire bay of Cannes.

The tour finishes as your guide drops you off at your port of call.

Great excursion. Daniel was very informative during the entire day trip. Highly recommend this. Tremendous views of bay from old town of Eze.

The private tour was everything we expected and more. The guide who lived in the area was wonderful. She showed us where the Cannes festival took place and we saw hand prints, both old and new like in the Hollywood walk of fame. from there we traveled to Nice, where she lived, Eze and a few other locations along the way to Monaco. The perfume factory was interesting even though it was closed when we visited. Monaco and Monte Carlo were great. We traveled along the route of the Grand Prix in Monte Carlo. The wealth in this area is not to be believed. We saw the tomb of Princess Grace and the Prince. We had time to walk around Monaco and view the sights of the City before returning back to our vehicle for the return ride to the port.

Really good tour. Wish we had a little more time in Monaco to see the palace tour. Could of skipped Eze. Our driver was wonderful and knew the area and the history well. The perfume factory was interesting

This was one of seven Viator tours we took in nine days. Our tour promised a minivan and instead were in a small car. Our guide laughed when he saw two backpacks and my not so small bag and said we would have to put them in his trunk. When we saw his car we knew why. We were packed like sardines and the ac was not strong for the warm day. The guide, Daniel was very unorganized and had no concept of time. On two separate occasions he had issues paying for parking and we had to back up, park and he had to get out to pay. seemed our guide should have known this We experience some tolls which seemed to surprise him because he never had change ready to pay. Instead he had to fish for change and was furious when a receipt was not given. He kept waiting and pushing a button for a receipt that never printed. It seemed he should have had a Telepass He told us we were leaving Eze in time to see the Changing of the Guard in front of the Prince's Palace. We arrived late due to the fact we had to drive around the parking garage trying to find a place to park. We rushed walking only to arrive and the ceremony had ended. It's a shame he couldn't have left us out so we could walk and not waste time in the parking area. We had a quick lunch and met him back at the Prince's Palace. It's a shame he didn't give us a meeting point that didn't require us to backtrack to the palace and then turn around to walk back to the parking area. Lots of wasted time. As we drove along Cannes and Nice along the drive to Eze, Daniel promised us we would stop on the return for photos. This did not occur! Before our tour started, Daniel went over our schedule for the day-unfortunately this did not occur. He received a phone call as we were leaving the Palace and we didn't think anything about it until we had left Monte Carlo and I asked about the photos. Daniel then explained he thought our tour was 6 hours and it was really 5 hours so we would miss those photo opportunities. The four of us were extremely disappointed! He then said to us, You can't do this tour in 5 hours. How would I have known this because the tour was only offered as a 5 hour tour. We arrived back to our port only to have him dump us in front and point to the ship. He told us the area didn't allow him to drive inside which was untrue because other private tours were taking their patrons inside. We literally were in the car except for 30 minutes in Eze, 55 minutes at the Prince's Palace and 7 minutes in Monte Carlo. On our 40 minute return drive to Cannes, he did not say a word - no tour info and certainly no mention of sights. This should have been sold as a driving tour of these cities. This was a huge disappointment and Viator needs to reevaluate this tour company. We paid over 462 for this horrible day!!!

Adam was our guide and he was honestly AMAZING!! He went above and beyond the simple description of this tour and gave our family the best day of our vacation! This shore excursion was unanimously the family favorite and it was all because of Adam! He was super knowledgeable about the entire area and had non-stop bits of information. He's also an excellent photographer and took us to beautiful photo spots where he took the most precious family pictures for us - we've already got them printed and displayed in the house!! You MUST book this shore excursion - it's the BEST way to experience France and we can't wait to go back!

You need to make it clear that these stops were basically all photo stops. Was rushed throughout the tour. I had the expectation for a least some free time, but there was none. This is too much to see in 5 hours. Also, I think the tour operator should call the casino in advance to check the opening time. He indicated they don't always open on time. At least if they checked that morning the tour group could decide to spend that time in Monaco. If the casino is not open, they why even bother to stop in Monte Carlo and given our short 15 minutes there we wouldn't have been able to gamble at all anyway.

This was a great tour! It was definitely a full long day with lots of walking, but we were able to see so much! The tour guide was excellent and told us so much about the city and the country. My favorite place was La Sagrada Familia. She was able to tell us such details about it even though it was VERY crowded. Like I said, LOTS of walking but well worth it to see so many things in one day!

Felt a tad rushed by the guide and also that he wasn and #39;t happy we wanted to see the changing of the guards in Monaco (and didn and #39;t know it wasn and #39;t happening due to construction-we felt as the expert he should have known) but he was very nice and super informative and we had a good day.

Unfortunately our driver, Paul, was sick. He was feverish, sweating, coughing, and blowing his nose for the duration of the day. Despite the heat and the wind, we kept the car windows open so as to attempt and avoid getting infected from him. Completely unprofessional to send someone so sick to be in the car with tourists for 5 hours. The tour itself is nice, although, I'm thinking a day at the beach in Cannes would have been much nicer and less stressful then the experience we had. Monte-Carlo is really not worth the drive there and back from Cannes.
