Know More about this tour

Dock at port in the Mediterranean coastal city of Cannes, where your guide will be waiting for you at the cruise terminal to take you on your half-day shore excursion. You'll get a taste of two sides of the French Riviera by visiting Eze, a medieval hilltop village, and Monaco, the land of the rich and famous and the second-smallest country in the world!

Take in beautiful views of the Mediterranean as you ride by 8-passenger minivan to Eze, located about an hour up the coast. The village sits on the Middle Corniche road between Nice and Monaco, at an altitude of 1,400 feet (427 meters), and boasts breathtaking views over the Cte d'Azur.

Begin your visit with a guided tour. Wander the ancient cobblestone streets past traditional artisan shops while learning about Eze's history. Head to the Fragonard perfumery to discover some of the secrets of French perfume-making and see how this prestigious brand creates their enticing fragrances.

Continue along the Middle Corniche through the village of La Turbie, fondly termed the 'Terrace of Monaco.' Marvel at the imposing Roman monument there, known as the Trophy of the Alps (Trophe des Alpes). Then cross the border into the glitzy and glamorous principality of Monaco.

Morning tour-goes will attend the Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Princes Palace (Palais Princier), taking place just before noon. Your next stop is Monaco Cathedral, where Prince Rainier and Princess Grace are laid to rest. Hear of the church's history as you marvel at its impressive Roman-Byzantine architecture.

Take a spin along part of circuit used in Monacos famous Formula One Grand Prix, which attracts thousands of race fans from around the world for its annual race. Explore Casino Square in Monte Carlo, a favorite spot among Monaco's jet-setters and high rollers.

At the end of your tour of Monaco, sit back and relax on the coastal drive back to Cannes, where your half-day shore excursion ends.

We really enjoyed our guide for this trip! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Eze is a neat little town, Monaco was beautiful and we could have stayed there longer exploring! Could have done without the perfume tour at the end.

We had booked a small group (8) tour for Cannes and Monaco. Our tour guide was Thim, who was originally from Vietnam. Although he was not originally from the area, he was a wealth of knowledge about the country and traditions. We had an absolutely great time! He took us to Eze, Monte Carlo, Monaco, Cannes and Nice. More than we had expected or paid for. He was a great tour guide, very witty, very personable, and kept us entertained throughout the tour.

So glad we did this in a small group bus. Cost half as much as ship excursions (as were all our excursions through Viator). Really was a lot more walking than anticipated., Even from pick up point was not where the other buses were. Not sure why. So keep that in mind. I think our guide was a little off that day and the couple in the back had trouble hearing her. That being said it was an amazing tour and so happy we did it. Our pictures are fabulous and would do it again. Bucket list

First I will preface my review as that the tenders from the boat were running 15-20 mins behind so we got to the driver/guide at 9:15am when we were to meet at 9. We got to the van and the driver after receiving a ticket for parking took us to Eze. The perfume tour was nice and then he took us up to a hotel/town area to explore. He gave us 20 mins to explore before we had to be back on at the Van so we wouldn't miss the changing of the guard in Monaco. We really enjoyed the guard changing but with being so rushed in Eze we didn't get to see much. The Changing of the guard was amazing and a site to see. Then we headed to Monte Carlo and had 20-30 minutes to see the town before having to get back in the Van and head back to the ship. Monte Carlo Casino wasn't open for about 1-2 hours later then we arrived so we couldn't go see anything, nor was there time to eat or explore with the short time frame. If the main reason for visiting Monte Carlo is the Monte Carlo Casino and it is closed why go? The guide/driver and seemed rushed through the trip. IF there is not enough time to do all the scheduled stops and sites then why not remove one stop or ask the grp what they want to do instead of cramming it all in and not getting to enjoy the experience?

Due to the ship not being able to get into port until the afternoon, the full day tour ended up being a 1/2 day tour. We were still able to see all of the sites that were offered on the tour ad,
My one complaint would be that the tour guide walked faster than my wife and I could keep up.

The day was nice. We got to see everything that the tour promised. We had a pleasant day and the guide was handsome and sweet. My only complaint was his driving. This was my only tour in which the driver was the tour guide. He was weaving in and out of the lanes for no apparent reason and I was terrified. The traffic wasn't bad so there was no reason to drive like this. I actually said this to him when we made our first stop. There was no reason to drive like that when you have a van full of people that you are responsible for. He seemed to calm down after I mentioned it, but it was scary.

Excelent. The driver was very polite. Explained everytinhg to us. Its a tour of 5 hours. We liked of the tour

Monte Carlo was Beautiful we didn't stay long enough. We saw the change of guards in Monaco that was nice. The first stop was to much walking for me and we avoided the perfume experience. It was a long drive. I think one of the stops should be removed. It becomes rushed. The driver was sweet, but she walks fast. She was patient and knowledgeable.

We booked this tour as our day excursion while on our Mediterranean cruise. We had a great 1/2 day tour. The town of Eze was lovely, fresh air and beautiful scenery. Enjoyed the perfume factory as well. Was a little disappointed that we missed the changing of the guards in Monaco.
Monaco was absolutely stunning and the clean, opulent as you would imagine.
