Fairly well managed and run. Great introduction to what the area has to offer and well worth the price

Amazing experience - the tour course is quite standard across different tour program for daintree, but what really made the experience memorable was knowledgable guide and commentary on daintree forest, plants and wildlife. Definitely loved it

Though the river was quiet and no cross the day was great. Our tour guide Yannick was incredibly knowledgeable and l feel we had a true experience in the Daintree.

Great trip up to the Daintree. Did exactly what it said on the tin. Gav was a great guide and we found his guided board walk tour so interesting and informative. Made us more able to appreciate other visits to the rain forest. Swim was also good. Maybe a long day out for kids but for adults 10/10.

Daniel was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. I highly recommend participating in the swim. Very refreshing after a hot day. Lunch was fantastic. The veggie lasagna... Perfect!! Kudos to the chief. Daniel was even kind enough to drop me at my accommodations even though it was 1/2 km from the closest pick up point.

My partner and I did a day trip up to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation and it was the perfect day! We saw juvenile crocodiles on the boat tour of the Daintree river, and were lucky enough to see a wild cassowary as well! The provided lunch was delicious and the weather was perfect on the day so that was a bonus. Our tour guide Yannick was absolutely incredible. He knew so much about the area from the cultural history to all the flora and fauna. Yannick was definitely passionate about showing tourists the Daintree so it was such an incredible experience seeing such beautiful places with someone who had so many interesting facts and information to tell us. The bus ride wasn't boring either! Yannick kept us informed about all the flora and fauna we saw along the way, as well as important cultural information about the traditional custodians of the land - the Kuku Yalanji people. We ended the day with a delicious stop at the Daintree Ice Cream company. I highly recommend the wattleseed ice cream! I would definitely recommend Billy Tea Safaris to anyone - this was a big day but it was a great day of learning and exploring the most beautiful place in Australia. I highly recommend it!

This was a brilliant trip, start to finish. Matt was a great guide and host and extremely knowledgeable on flora and fauna and local info. he even joined me and my kids and some other guests for lunch which was really good of him, and my 2 kids really appreciated and enjoyed his company. He went above and beyond in terms of returning to sites when weather was optimal and tailored the trip accordingly. Great day - wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Would have loved to sight a big croc, but the 2 cassowaries more than made up for it.

This is for Daintree day tour. Our trip started 30 minutes late due to some confusion( the only time the driver was late in our 3 weeks of Australia trip). The trip was good and the driver was a really good guide. However, I felt this is a long trip where you sit in bus for long hours. So in total the trip is 12 hours and you have 1 hour cruise, 1 hour board walk in forest, and couple of quick stops, else you are mostly in bus. Our driver was constantly talking stories, jokes and was trying his best to entertain us. We did spot one small and one medium crocodile during cruise.

A great way to tick off a fair few of the main Daintree sights in one go. We had a really good guide (Daniel) who was very informative. The boat cruise was great and we did see a crocodile, even thought it was the hardest part of the year for sightings. They boat guide put in loads of effort to make sure we saw one. The drive up at Cape Tribulation is pretty rough so going on a tour rather than self drive makes it a lot easier. I would definitely recommend.

The trip was average but overpriced for what it actually delivered which was less than the itinerary describes on the website. Stop 3 refers to a guided boardwalk - our guide made no mention of this being a guided walk but did provide some useful information to those of us who stuck with him. Others walked by themselves. Stop 5 refers to the Bloomfield Track - spotting wildlife - this turned out to be a high speed drive through to the swimming pool with no chance of seeing anything, nor any mention being made. For those that didn’t swim this was a waste of time. Stop 6 refers to a stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers ‘ platform. While we were having lunch our guide simply said that the beach was through the trees and that we had 30 minutes to wander. I had to ask if this was the famous Cape Tribulation beach as so little was made if it. Finally, the information stated that we returned to Cairns at 6.30pm - in fact we ere back easily by 5.30 so the trip lost an hour of activity somewhere. Sorry to moan but I felt the trip did not live up to its billing and I chose this one, despite the high cost, because it sounded so good.
