Continue the journey north along one of the most picturesque coastal drives in the world, stopping at Rex Lookout for views over Trinity Beach and back towards the mountains of the Great Dividing Range.

The next stop is the small seaside village of Port Douglas for short town tour before heading to Mossman Gorge on the southern edge of the Daintree World Heritage area. Here youll enjoy morning tea in the New Mossman Gorge Centre.

Board a shuttle bus accompanied by your Naturalist or Eco/World Heritage accredited guide and head up to the national park for a guided walk in dense tropical rainforest. Enjoy the views over the huge granite boulders and crystal clear waters of the Mossman River. If time and weather permits you will be able to refreshing swim.

Heading further north and passing the sugar cane fields of North Queensland, stop for delicious lunch at the Daintree Tea House, the longest-established restaurant in the Daintree area that serves local produce of the highest standards.

After lunch, join a small and personalized cruise on the Daintree River. If you are lucky enough, you may even spot the elusive crocodile.

Continuing north along winding and picturesque road toward Cape Tribulation. Along the way youll see even more wonders of the World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park. Wonderful Tour! Thank you to our host Michelle for being a wonder guide. Even though we couldn’t visit Mossman Gorge on the day, Michelle was able to show us other places to visit. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the Daintree rainforest and Cape tribulation and most of all our tour guide Darryl was amazing who had a wealth of knowledge which made that even better. As for the Mossman gorge we never got to see it as apparently it was closed, which we were not informed about prior to us boarding the bus and felt it was left upto the poor guide to tell us. There was no alternative or some sort of refund. The other part which was a little disappointing was the croc River tour. We only got to see one baby croc. I understand it's not the season for crocs to come out on the bank due to the heat but I felt the tour guide could have done a quick look before we got there to try and find at least one to show us or if no crocs like there wasn't either an alternative or some type of refund The last thing is the lunch place we went to was not very nice. We were serverd dry and cold food swhich i noticed most if tour group didnt eat there lunch. Something to definitely look at changing. Overall it was a pleasant day but could have been better for the money we pay.

Was not informed that Mossman Gorge had been closed from Monday due to a double drowning there. As this was the only chance for a swim this was a disappointment on my trip on Thursday.Spent many hours on the coach with a few short stops.Lunch was enjoyable and ate kangaroo meat for the first time

My partner and I had a fantastic day, we saw 3 crocs, 1 alpha male and 2 juveniles. A green tree snake, 3 green frogs, a skink and another beautiful lizard, some bush Turkey things and while we didn't get it on camera a cassowary which was amazing to see in the wild, he was almost bush Tucker! running in front of our van. Cute little red mud crabs, lots of orb spiders and green ants! Such a fab day all thanks to our wonderful and knowledgeable guide Lawrence. Some amazing landscapes to see along the way and at each of the stops we had. Highly recommend and the best thing we did on our trip to Cairns.

Jim, our guide was brilliant! Super knowledgable and really cared about ensuring the best experience for each individual group member. The day was long but you didn’t even realise it as there were so many beautiful stops along the way! Lots of lovely people in our small group to share travel and life stories with. Loved it and would highly recommend, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Jim as your guide.

From beginning to end, it was a day to remember. The Daintree Rainforest was ancient and amazing, and swimming in the Mossman Gorge was cool and refreshing. Lunch was delicious! It was fun looking for crocs and learning their names. Cape Trib was breathtaking and the ice cream was yummy. Best of all was our guide Michelle, who made the day what it was. She was so funny and knowledgeable and really loves what she does. She is the best!

A stunning tour and a great balance of information and sightseeing. Simon, our guide, was knowledgeable and personable, the food was terrific and the scenery was incredible. All of the elements were spot on - and we saw a wonderful array of wildlife to boot.
