Know More about this tour

Begin the day with a morning hotel pickup in a comfortable coach. The group will drive over a true Vancouver landmark, the Lions gate bridge, a 5,890-foot (1,823-meter) bridge that offers unparalleled views of Vancouver Harbor, English bay, and beyond.

Once across the Bridge and in the North Shore, the tour continues on a short drive up the mountain to the Capilano Fish Hatchery. Here you will learn about the life cycle of salmon and, depending on the season (July thru August), watch them as they leap their way upriver.

Next, head over to aworld-famous foot bridge, the Capilano suspension bridge, to walk among the towering trees of the surrounding temperate rainforest and learn the traditions of the Coast Salish indigenous people. Then the group will be guided across the infamous 446-foot (136-meter) bridge to the other side of the river to a climb into the canopy and walk through the Treetops Adventure walkway high above the canyon and river below.

For those seeking a more thrilling experience, try the 'Cliffwalk', the newest attraction at the Capilano suspension bridge. This adrenaline-pumping journey travels through the rainforest on a series of suspended walkways built out from the granite cliff face to give the group access to unexplored territories of the park.

At Grouse mountain, the group will ascend into the coastal mountains by gondola and travel to a 3,937-foot (1,200-meter) viewpoint to enjoy one of the best views in Vancouver overlooking the city. In the summertime, walk along the mountain top meadows and witness the world-famous Lumberjack show. Visit Grinder and Coola, two resident grizzly bears and enjoy a 'Birds in Motion' demonstration at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife. Attend a movie at the 'Theatre in the Sky' before heading back.

A quick summary of the tour:

After this exciting North Shore experience, the group will return to the bus and relax on the drive back to Vancouver.

We were short on time and this tour provided a great overview of Canada Place and Stanley Park before going on to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain, both of which were very enjoyable. We arrived early at Capilano Suspension Bridge and managed to beat the crowds which would make the bridge very crowded and hard to walk along. Great job on the part of Sebastian who provided us a lot of information as we toured along.

Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge are must sees. The tour guide and bus were perfect.

Could not have been happier or more impressed with our tour. Leaving out that Capilano Park and Grouse Mountain were sensational, the tour itself exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide Erick was punctual, friendly, passionate, informative and best of all funny!

    Would definitely recommend this tour!

Great value and tour guide. Small group van went to Capillano Suspension bridge. Great walking over bridge and view. Walking in the trees was fun. Then up to Grouse Mountain. Big cable car lift, then lumberjack show, then saw grisly bear. Then up to top on skylift. Gorgeous, but cold and windy. 15 degrees colder. Had no coat in early June.

We were only in Vancouver for 48 hours before joining our ship for a cruise in Alaska. We booked this tour via Viator and are so glad we did. Firstly making the book was so easy. When we got to the hotel we made contact with the contractor to ensure the morning pickup It was so easy. To top it all though our driver / guide was amazing from the moment we got on board the tour commenced he poited out lots of interesting places enroute to the Bridge and Mountain and his knowledge of the area was amazing. He ut us at ease straight away and it was an absolute pleasure to have been in his company.
As for the bridge and grouse mountain they were amazing in their own rights. The only thing that was missing for us was lots of snow, but next time we will come over in the Vancouver winter time. we have no hesitation in recommending this tour as long asyou have a head for heights you'll thoroughly enjoy it

Our Guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the places we visited. He made the day very enjoyable and we would recommend him and this tour to everyone.

Our guide was excellent. He was right on time picking us up. He described many sights on the way to both the Suspension Bridge park and Grouse Mountain. While on Grouse Mountain, he went out of his way to show my husband and I the bear exhibit while the rest of the group wanted to see the Lumberjack show. Grouse Mountain is amazing with all the things to do there.

This was the best tour I have done in a long time. These 2 areas are just beautiful and I highly recommend this trip. Our tour guide, Eric, was amazing, so informative and kept us all laughing the whole trip. Our group was only 9 people, so was great! There were only 2 things, there wasn't enough time at the 2 places (that's simply because it was a half day trip and there is so much to see at both places) and the Salmon Hatchery was out of season, so didn't get to see that (but again, that's not the tour's fault. It the trip itself was amazing, we got to see the grizzly bears up close, and watched the lumberjack show. Highly recommend!

Great experience for our family. We got there early and made it across the bridge before the crowds arrived! Dramatic views, great exercise and challenges. Multiple options for experiencing the park. Grouse Mountain was a bit cloudy but we still enjoyed the views from the tram. Crazy lumberjack show!
