  • Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We did not realize that the Capitol guided tour is really given by Capitol tour personnel, not by our
    tour guide.

  • Our guide Lliam was terrific. Extremely knowledgeable. Can recommend highly.

  • This tour was great, though it didn't get off to a good start. Our tour guide kept us waiting for about 15-20 minutes, but he quickly made up for it at the Library of Congress and his behind-the-scenes knowledge of what happens there. A few tourists stopped by to listen to a few of stories. The Supreme Court was closed, though, and the Shakespeare Library was pretty uneventful. The library would have been a more meaningful experience of perhaps we could have been given a small tour by library staff.

  • Fantastic tour of Capitol Hill. Although we've visited DC a few times, as friends were joining us we booked a guided tour and learned so much! Liam was brilliant and gave us lots of insight into the area and buildings. Our group of 4 were the only ones on the tour so we had Liam's insider knowledge to ourselves. Highly recommended !

  • Liam was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. I learned so much and had a great tour.

  • Good tour but need to take when the House and Supreme Court are in session. Not much to see on Saturday when they are not in session. Tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable.

  • Amazing tour and just the two of us and the guide.

Liam reallly knew what he was talking about and we really enjoyed the whole tour.

  • Tour guide Liam escorted us on a highly informative tour around Capitol Hill. He was very knowledgeable of the history and architecture of the Capitol and Library of congress - my two favorite stops - and allowed us to linger and take loads of pictures. We were supposed to be in a tour group of 10 people, but only my friend and I were there to meet Liam, so we had a very special morning, and he was happy to answer all our questions. Liam even arranged for us to get an elevator pass in the Capitol and Library of Congress - our tired knees were glad! He helped us find a lovely cafe for lunch that was nearby and historic. Perfect end to a memorable first day in DC!

  • The tour was great!! Very informative. Our guide Liam did a super job showing us the sights!!

  • This was a wonderful private tour that my family enjoyed immensely! Our tour guide, Liam, was quite knowledgeable on the places we visited and provided wonderful little insights to the surrounding area as well. He was considerate of what we wanted to know and where we wanted to visit, never making us feel rushed and we spent plenty of time in all four places. The US Capitol was amazing, but please remember, NO FOOD OR DRINKS allowed. The walk was not very strenuous but does cover a decent distance as these are large buildings. I recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to gain more insight into the wonderful buildings and their histories.
