Overview
Visit the picturesque and charming island of Capri with aprivate tour guide. You will be picked up at the ports of Sorrento or Naples and transfers from your hotel to the harbors can be arranged upon request. A visit of the Blue grotto will be includedif the weather permits, if not you will do a shared boat ride tour around the island to see the other marvellous caves and Faraglioni rocks.
On board of a convertible car or Minibus, you will pass through the Mamma mia Road and will arrive in Anacapri, where you will a chance to visit Villa San Michele or reach the Mount Solaro by chairlift or simply strolling by the town,
Stop for lunch in Anacapri and soon after by car or minibus you will reach Capri main square, known as La Piazzetta, typical for its shops and Coffee shop, the meeting point of celebrities. From there another walking tour to Augustus Gardens.
Then you will catch the famous Funicolare to reach the main pier to be back in Naples or Sorrento.

Felt like we had Capri to ourselves. Our guide Miguel was friendly, informative and knew Capri like the back of his hand. He took us to the main spots on the island, and since the weather didn't allow for us to go on the chair lifts or Blue Grotto, he took us to Axel Munthe's villa instead, and then recommended the best spot on the boat that went round the island. Also took us to a good restaurant with the best fresh food.

This was a wonderful tour, made perfect by our guide, Giorgio. His love for his home, Capri, was infectious. He went out of his way to give us the best experience. He met us in Sorrento and guided us down to the ferries. We were met on Capri by a driver with an open air convertible who whisked us along the Mama Mia road to Anacapri. We rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain and Giorgio gave us I formation and anecdotes. The blue grotto was closed because of rough seas, so he took us on a boat ride around the island -- much better experience in my mind. We did much more before we finally took the boat home.

Take the private tour--it's worth it. We had our own open air vehicle and driver and guide which allowed us freedom to spend our time as we preferred, plus was fun. Guide Cristina was outstanding in comminicating, informing us of history, insuring we were being handled safely at Blue Grotto, and esp hearing what our preferences were. Ask for Cristina.

This day trip was an absolute highlight of our time in Sorrento. Very organised, amazing day! The blue grotto was exhilarating and we had such a good guide that we got there by land (secret skip the cue) then off to Annacapri which was breathtaking. No time was wasted the day went very fast and we saw everything. A absolute must to do!!!

Our family had a terrific day in Capri! Ben was a wonderful tour guide and we felt lucky to see as much as we did in one day. Capri is beautiful and our Sky Ride and Boat Ride were some of the high points of our entire vacation. Ben had us organized and safely maneuvered our family of six throughout the entire day.
