If you are holidaying in Naples or Sorrento take this opportunity to visit Capri and Positano, two of the most famous and enchanting places in the area.
At the port of Naples or Sorrento you will be met by a Blue Badge guide who will take you across to the Island of Capri, arriving at the islands main port, Marina grande.
You will then be taken in a convertible car for a drive along the famous Mamma Mia road to reach the wonderful Blue Grotto. On this private tour there will be no queuing to gain entry to the grotto itself. The clear blue waters beckon and the sailors will serenade you with Neapolitan songs. However, this visit to the Grotto is only if the weather permits; due to weather and sea conditions, the cave is only open on average one day out of four. We hope it will be a lucky day for you but if the Grotto is closed there will be an equally marvellous shared boat trip around the island.
After a trip on the sea then back on terra firms your guide will take you to Capri town centre for a stroll through the shopping streets and a visit to the main square La Piazzetta". This wonderful square is surrounded by little cafes and beloved of tourist and VIPs from all over the world.
A Funicolare ride then transports you back to Marina Grande for a jetfoil ride to Positano.
This enchanting town of pastel-coloured houses, little alleyways and hidden stairways is now a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site. It really is a feast for the senses; the smell of lemons around every corner, white linen clothes hanging outside the many boutiques and the buzz of visitors.
At the end of this marvellous tour your English-speaking guide will ensure you get safely back to Naples or Sorrento.
