Itinerary:
This is a half day tour that combines snorkeling with colorful fish with an awesome private cenote & cave. First we visit an inlet to snorkel with the vast array of Caribbean fish and there is always the possibility to see a stingray or a sea turtle. For this activity we visit an inlet or a bay to avoid waves and currents, making the snorkeling safe & easy. Cenotes are one of the most attractive characteristics of the landscape of the Yucatan peninsula. These amazing caves are full of all kinds of magnificent limestone formations, stalactites and columns. But it is the fact that they are flooded with rainwater which makes them so special. These natural wells were and still are considered sacred - they provide access to the vital liquid that gives life (water) and in traditional Mayan thought, they are also the entrance to the Underworld. We visit an exclusive cavern where we are able to appreciate the different kinds of formations and learn about their process of evolution, walking through galleries for 600 m. underground. This is a truly magical and spiritual journey through the Mayan Underworld.

This was an amazing tour. The snorkeling in a coral reef near Tulum, in an incredibly beautiful place was really great. We went there were early and I think that we were alone there at this moment. All this beautiful ocean was just for us. After the snorkeling, right when it start to be hotter outside, we went to the second part of the trip in a private Cenote near Akumal. This was also an amazing. This Cenote is incredibly beautiful, and we were completely alone here, in a very small group with our amazing guide - Macarena. This visit to Cenote was a real experience, like to be in another world. The places we have visited were amazing, stunning but visiting them in a nice company and with Macarena was another great part of experience. Maca was great, professional and caring guide. We also could feel how much she loves and cares for the places she made us to visit. And with her, it is impossible to not fell in love with Tulum, it’s ocean and beaches, Cenotes and Mayan culture. Thank a lot to Maca and Mexican Kan Tours for this incredible experience. For sure we will return to Tulum and try some other tours next time!

This is a wonderful boutique experience. That is a complete home run. Macarena, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and loved the sense of adventure that we were looking for and delivered. Highly recommend this tour

Fernando is supremely awesome! Loved this tour so much! The cave experience was one of the most incredible things I have ever done. My 15 year old son and I are thrilled to have been able to do this. Every step of the way Fernando was a superior guide who really enhanced everyone's experience. Not to mention the food and the snacks ...they were excellent!

Fernando is an amazing guide who made the cenote walking and swimming experience extra special by introducing a minute of silent meditation and connection with nature in the dark. The whole trip was fantastic and very well organized; the guide was knowledgeable and super friendly, great English and clearly passionate about his work, the food was delicious. Not to mention that the experience itself - the coral reef snorkeling and the underground river tour are absolutely unique - we couldn't stop ourselves from audibly gasping and laughing in amazement on several occasions!

AMAZING! this tour got our holidays off to a great start. Communication was always effective and professional as was the transportation. The snorkeling on the reef was fantastic and the equipment of good quality and in good condition. The tour only got better in the cave which is in my opinion a must see! Our tour guide Fernando was so in touch with nature and the experience and conversation with him was second to none. Can only recommend this tour to anyone seeking the perfect day of adventure. Thanks to the Mexico Kan tour team.

Pablo was the absolute best!! I’ve already recommended this experience to other people and I just went yesterday. I’d do it a million times if I could!

Perfectly timed and all equipment, tour guide, transportation, food, and vibes were better than we could have hoped for. Such a unique, fun, and educational time. Shout out to Pablo our tour guide for leading us the way!

The tour is amazing! First snorkelling on the reef and visiting the underground cave system where your mind and body is reborn. Also the tour guide Pablo with his contagious laughter made this an experience of a lifetime.

Great experience, amazing guide Carlos with impressive knowledge of local life and traditions. Everything in English. First - amazing reef adventure. We saw so many different fishes and even 1 barracuda! Huge one... Carlos showed us epic cenote and caves. Going trough darkness with just flash lights to see amazing top open cenote. Jumping into the fresh water it was just amazing! Helped us around and it was generally very fun and interesting. Separately I would say another thanks for amazing burgers that he made for us. It was very delicious! Finishing with great rice cake and stories about cenotes and structure of thouse in Yucatan peninsula. Very interesting experience! Definitely a recommendation

My girlfriend and I did this tour while visiting Tulum from NYC. We had a great time and our host, Miguel, was incredible. The tour was very personal and there was only one other couple with us. The couple was very rude actually but Miguel kept a great attitude the entire time and did not let it impact his thoughts and feelings. Miguel was extremely in touch with nature and loves his profession and was able to explain everything with great passion. He took us to an AMAZING cenote (the best one we visited while in Tulum) and we had an incredible time in the underground caves. Again, it was a private tour in the cenote which made it an incredible experience. For snorkeling, the water was very rough that day and there was a lot of sediment causing the water to not be very clear but that is not anyone's fault. The coral was still very beautiful and we saw plenty of fish.
