Really fun experience! The guides were nice. Shout out to Elvin Devon, he was awesome! I like how they come prepared and bring water and treats for the trip. Make sure to bring sunscreen because we got burnt.

We booked this tour through the cruise ship. It went very smoothly. I took a backpack and waterproof money belt. They had a group locker with a padlock for security. I left my backpack but chose to take my other items since I did not snorkel. No one had any problems though. I took myself, a 17 yr old, 13 yr old, and 10 yr old. They all enjoyed it. The hike was very short but interesting. Hermit crabs, starfish, sea urchins, manchineel tree, and more. We had a lot of fun in the kayaks and made a stop to learn about the mangroves. We kayaked in a bay which was much easier than being in the ocean. Our group would book this tour again. Very fun.

This was a fun educational tour. Both of us had little kayaking experience. The trip was a little challenging with the windy weather causing some choppy water once we were in the more open area, but we were able to keep up without too much trouble. The stops to learn about and view local plants and wildlife were very informative, and the hike was very interesting and not challenging for a moderate level of physical fitness. The break for snorkeling or relaxing before heading back after the hike was very nice, and snorkel gear is provided if you don't bring your own. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone with a moderate level of physical fitness and an interest in the ecology of the area.

Book an excursion through NCL and had a great tour experience with Jahmal, Anslem, Ariel, and DJ. They did an awesome job explaining the tour route, helping us with our equipment, and teaching us about the ecosystem and history of the USVI. The kayak, hike, and snorkel activities were fun and moderately challenging. The guides also supplied us with water bottles and chocolate bars (including nut-free options) to make sure we were hydrated and had energy, and took pictures for us.

The overall experience was unorganized from the moment we arrived at the location. At first, we were told we were the only group in the tour which was exciting, considering there were approx. 15 additional people waiting for their tour guides. Getting us loaded into kayaks was a disaster and had zero pre-planning. We had a party of 5 and I was expected to share a double kayak with a stranger, even though single kayaks were available (yet not loaded into the water). After expressing displeasure at that arrangement, I was able to have a single kayak. Once we left the little docking area our group of 5 turned into a group of 15 with the tour leader, Patricio, giving us zero idea of where we were headed. The map in the "shack" meeting area was never used to show where our tour would take us, leaving everyone wondering where we were going. The larger group we now had resulted in a disjointed experience with the slower, less experienced kayak groups left far behind Patricio and the faster group. The hike was ridiculous going over rough, sharp, rocky terrain in addition to passing by the most poisonous tree on earth (shedding acid water if it was raining and toxic effects if the leaves were touched). Finally, the snorkel experience was a joke as zero direction was provided to those that never snorkeled before. We worked amongst ourselves to adjust our masks and breath through a snorkel while Patricio set off with the "advanced" group and never looked back. Most disturbing was the lack of time management as our cab driver (managed by the tour company) set a departure time of 4:45 and our tour guide RACED back to the starting point (again leaving many people far behind him) and never let the cab driver know we were back. Thank goodness Joe kept count of how many folks should be in the cab before taking off and returning to the ship, otherwise we would have been left to fend for ourselves and a ride back to the port. Finally, don't purchase the picture package. For the extra cost only one picture was taken and we never had the opportunity to see it.

Did this tour as an excursion from a cruise ship visit to St. Thomas. Jahmal, Anslem, Ariel, and DJ did a fantastic job of guiding us and made it a fun adventure. We got to kayak across the lagoon, and saw a lot on the hike. Saw lots of sea life during the snorkeling. There is no wasted time on this tour and it was educational and a great time spent outdoors.

An awesome adventure! We had a wonderful morning’s activity on this trip. The crystal clear waters of the lagoon were amazing and Jamal, our expert guide, was friendly, caring and informative. We learned so much from him. His featured creatures were jelly fish, star fish, hermit crabs and eels. We even saw a huge shark, which swam under out kayak. (OK it was only about 3 feet long and perfectly harmless). We are both in our late 60s and had no problem with the kayaking, snorkeling or hiking. We found the whole experience to be excellent and very good value. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Today we embarked on our favorite Vacay journey with Jahmal and it was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had on this trip!! Jahmal was a natural photographer and made sure all our needs were accounted for the entire time! He was very knowledgeable and made the day so amazing, and helped us appreciate the nature surrounding us!
