    Experience Santa Catalina Islands protected wilderness area while riding on a 1950s Flxible Bus. Keep your eyes open for the islands largest inhabitant, the American bison, before you visit the Nature Center at the Airport in the Sky. The airport houses the DC-3 Gifts and Grill, where you can purchase clothing, books, cards, and other gifts. You can also enjoy a quick bite to eat and the famous killer cookies" before returning to Avalon. Bring your camera along to capture the picture-perfect scenes that fill the entire tour.

      We were well pleased with the Skyline Drive tour. The driver/tour guide gave a good account of the history and the plants and animals of the area. We saw buffaloes, a island fox, and a fawn.

      It was very nice tour to experience. The driver told us the story about the history of Catalina Island which is we really wanted.

      We have a two-year-old toddler, and this is the perfect expedition for the family. The antique bus didn't have A/C but it's fun and the air was cool enough. Our guide, Freddie, was informative and entertaining.
