  • It would of been a five star except the driver was late getting to the port. Also after buying product at the rum cake factory we had to take all of the shopping goods out of the van on two of the next three stops because he had to go do something else, one of the places was the beach where you had to take all of your bags with you to the beach. The beach part just wasn't long enough. The cake factory was good, the beer and rum factory's were fantastic.

  • We were required to show up to meet at 8:30 a.m. - Tour bus did not arrive. They called another bus and driver and we didn't get out onto the tour until after 9:30 a.m. Rum Distillery was good, though only 20 minutes. Beer Brewery which we wanted to skip was an hour - way too long and we 7 of us sat outside the entire time since the driver and bus left to drive someplace else for another group! FINALLY got to the beach - chaotic! Had someone with a reasonable rate who would provide us with loungers, umbrella and a table we had a 78 yr old in the group, only to be stopped by the tour person there who said she would provide these, then remarked at the end of her little speech with 'oh, there are no tables or loungers' and walk away never to be seen again! This left us with 20 minutes to enjoy our beach stop - which we didn't. We put our 78 yr old in the shade sitting in her walker and grabbed something to drink until the bus and driver came back yes, he left again. Total waste of time - we should have just used a taxi service.

  • We were the only three people on our tour which made it nice because we could stay at the distillery and brewery longer. Unfortunately because we stayed there longer we were never able to make it to 7 mile Beach. The tour guide was great and we had a fun day.

  • Tour was very good. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't do the seven mile beach which was okay because we were here for the week but that wasn't there fault. We were late and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the island

  • We had a great time!!! Lots of rum to taste and also some rum cake buy some of the original flavor to bring home!. Our pickup was on time and everything went as planned.

  • We took this tour off the Carnival Vista. The bus driver was nice and took good care of us! It was a great tour and very informative, got to taste a lot of different rums I LOVE the Coconut Rum! and tour the distillery. It was good to be inside for a few hours that day - we needed a little break from the sun! But we did end up at the Royal Palms Beach Club and enjoyed that a lot - but not enough time there, only had about 1 hour. Beach and Water were AMANZING!!

  • The first stop was a store that sells the Rum cakes and rum. Not much explanation other than we were stopping there. We continued to the rum distillery which was FANTASTIC! Even tough there was a group that got there before us as soon as we walked in Moises welcomed us. He had a great energy and was so excited to talk to us about their products and taste them, told us we when the tour was starting and the rules After about 15-20 minutes we started the tour . Moises did a great job in explaining the distilling process and had everyone engaged. After the tour we had some time to buy rum from there. The dark rum was sooooo good!
We then went to the brewery. This was the complete opposite of where we came from. We were barely greeted when we walked in. The girl behind the bar asked us to come to the bar to taste their beers. They had a few beers that were pretty good. Then we waited for someone to tell us when the tour was starting. And we waited and waited. 30 mins later since we still were not addressed we told our driver we wanted to leave. We never got our tour. They barely addressed us. It was the worst tour experience I have had. Not friendly at all.
We left to go to the beach. The resort was really nice but pricey. 12 for a beach chair and 15 for an umbrella. The beach was AWESOME! I think they should skip the awful brewery tour , they seems to not care for customers anyway and just take people to the beach after the distillery.

  • Seven Fathoms was awesome! Moses made the tour fun and educational. We got to taste a bunch of great rums and vodka and have a bunch of fun. This tour was great. Our tour guides for the island were fun, and going to the distillery was amazing. I would definitely recommend going on this tour.

  • The tour operator apparently combined several tours when boarding the bus as several minor children were on the bus. This delayed departure and overcrowded the bus. The distillery and brewery components were good. A little more time could have been added to the brewery component as it was the best part of the tour.

  • I had booked this tour well in advance and received confirmation. Before our cruise began we received notification our 11:00 tour was canceled and we would now be on the 9:00. We arrived promptly, were checked in and received our wristbands. Everyone began loading into the van and when it was our turn it became apparent there was no more room. How did they not know it was overbooked? The driver said sorry, you have to come back at 11:00. We came back before 11:00 and were told by the same guy who checked us in that morning there was no 11:00 tour to the distillery. The only tour we could take would be the west side of the island hell, rum factory, dolphin place and beach. They would refund the price difference. I was very disappointed because the distillery tour had such great reviews. It was my son's birthday and I wanted a fun tour. The driver heard me talking and actually came over and basically said in a nice way don't come on this tour if you're going to be complaining about it. This made me very angry because I wasn't even directing my comments to him. Our family was talking among ourselves. We started to have words as I tried to explain my position. We took the tour anyway and he did try to make it up to me -- even apologizing which I appreciated.

I finally received my refund and felt it time to give my review. There is no excuse for overbooking. Poor communication among the staff.
