Overview

Cenotes provide some of the most amazing diving experiences in the world. Glide through the caverns enjoying endless visibility, other-worldly views of stalactites and stalagmites, beams of light filtering through the jungle above and rock formations beyond your imagination.
Small groups, best care of the divers and professionalism are our goal because Fun & Safe is the best manner to join any experience!!

Itinerary:

Cenotes are surface connections to subterranean water bodies… Thousands of years ago underwater caves started to collapse and gateways to the river system were opened creating sinkholes called Cenotes. On this tour, you’ll visit these amazing Systems. You’ll depart from the dive center by car to head to a famous Cenote like Dos Ojos or Chac-Mool. Passing through the dense Mayan jungle, you will make your way to the first cavern; a detailed briefing by a specialized guide will explain you the rules and procedures to master during the dive rather then the features of the structures that adorned the walls of the the of the cavern. Diving through this wonderland of stalactites, stalagmites, large caverns and light shows you are guaranteed an experience of a lifetime. After an interval surface during which to have a light lunch and have a soft drink, you’ll enjoy a second different cavern and you then back to Playa del Carmen at around 3.30 pm.

I booked the Cenotes dives, but was taken to a reef instead. :( I cancelled the previous dive shop to go with this one just for this dive. When I got to the shop, they thought I was a snorkeler. I arrived on time by taking a cab. I found out I was the only diver and was there when the morning divers got in with 4 divers. The DM asked if I mind waiting for 30 or so min., It ended up being almost an hour later after the snorkelers were done, I think. A bit disappointing. During my 2 reef dives, they were good, and we were down an hour almost each dive with plenty of air left. I just wish I had gone to the Cenotes I paid to see. Honestly, I forgot that's why I booked and didn't ask. But seeing someone eles review who was also about 100 lbs. I would never have been able to carry my equipment from the truck to the dive site with a bad back. The staff was all very friendly, just not the dives I had paid for. Was nice being a solo diver though.

I went on a cenote dive with them and the guide gave us a very long talk that emphasized that we should not have any leaks in our equipment...well my octopus leaked, so did another customer's and at least 3 tanks had leaking O rings. Also none of the their air gages have depth meters. Having said all that, I did feel safe with the guides and they were friendly (although late).

I did my AOW course with Scuba Libre and it was really great and fun! The instructors are very nice and great divers and the divespots were really cool! After finishing my course my boyfriend and i did a 2 tank Cenote dive and it was awesome 😁😁😁😁 Thank you Scuba Libre, we had a great time with you 😁

I booked a 2 tank dive with Rigo through Scuba Libre, and the day was phenomenal. We dove Chac Mool - Kukulkán. Having not dove a cenote before I had a bit of anxiety, but the whole experience was great.Rigo was the best dive master I could have imagined for the experience. It was nice to not have to deal with waves and boats and see something equally or more breathtaking. The air dome was an amazing feature complete with tarantulas!

I dove Chikin Ha with Dressel in 2018 and felt so confident in their senote expert guide Olaf, that I looked them up again to do Tajma Ha. Was pleased that Olaf was the guide. He is extremely safety conscious and thoroughly explains the process to safely dive a senote. I felt Tajma was even better than Chikin Ha. Good variety with boulders, stalactites/mites, and lighted openings to the surface. Easy entry. Most passages were wide, not claustrophobic. As we popped up into one opening, Olaf let us pause to savor the view above. He never rushes. The last opening was into a bat cave. We did see quite a few bats and the lighted view to the jungle above was unreal. Water quality/visibility excellent. Some haloclines observed as well. Nice! Restrooms and gift hut on premises. Definitely a bucket list adventure!

The dive spot was more like a cave than a wide open lagoon. It was a bit scary. My dive instructor seemed annoyed each time I would let him know I was afraid. He wasn't the greatest to be with, which did not make the dive very fun.

The guide who took me to cenote Tajma Ha was very knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately I don't remember his name. He told a lot about history, geology and climate of The Yucatán Peninsula. It was informative and interesting.

I decided on this shop after looking at 3 other places in Playa. The welcome I had was professional. Everything well explained. My level of experience was taken into consideration (very much appreciated) I had never done a cenote before. The day of the dive my equipment was well prepared and sized perfectly. The girl spoke French, English and Spanish. Good job! The ride arrived on time. Group of 4 with one Diver Master. Note: You must carry your tank from the truck to the cenote and back. For a 100lbs pound girl, this was a challenge. My back is killing me today. I did not enjoy the dive has much has I would have thought. I think I had too much weights on. Partly my fault? I was unsure of how much I would need since I wasn’t diving in the ocean and I had a 5mm. I feel like the Diver Master could have helped with this issue. Used a lot of air to compensate in my bcd. Dive master let me borrow a flash light after mine died. Thank you. I would not recommend this Diver Master for someone beginning with their dives. He makes you set up your own equipment and barely checks it. You have to be aware and alert ! A bit more stressed then usual on this dive. Especially with my buoyancy and the fins of the other diver in front of me. Anyways, still a great location to visit. Thank you for the experience.
