We pick you up at your Hotel in San Jose, Alajuela or Heredia. to start a day full of nature and adventure, the most spectacular views of the landscape surrounding the Arenal volcano. This hike with an approximate duration of 5 hours is considered of medium difficulty.

From Fortuna to the hotel in the surroundings around the Arenal Volcano National Park until arriving at the Arenal Lodge Observatory from where we will take our walk towards Cerro Chato, enjoying the most spectacular views.

After two hours and a half hike, we will reach the green lagoon, extinct crater, the highest point on the tour. The perfect moment for the photo if the day is cleared, and you will enjoy an incredible view of the Arenal Volcano as well.

We begin the descent of the flat hill on the southeast side, and two and a half hours later we will arrive at the base.

A short walk will take us to the view of the Fortuna river waterfall. From there we continue our day of adventure with the walk that leads to the Fortuna river, where in its delicious crystalline waters of pleasant but cold temperature you can swim and enjoy the majestic waterfall of 60 meters in height.

There we will enjoys some snacks and refreshing drinks.

After walking the return of the sender for a few minutes, the microbus will be waiting for us to take you back to your hotel in the area.
