This is an interesting mix of Religion. It doesn't like the other temples in Thailand. There're a lot of greatest god of all and a lot of products here such as food, souvenirs, and amulets. Back to the vehicle and get cool bottled water and refreshing towel from your guide to clean-up your sweat.

The Wat Pho Bang Khla was formerly called wat pho.The most interesting sights at the temple, however, are not related to religion-they are the temple's resident bats, Khangkhao Mae Kai, which reside in the trees within the temple grounds. The world's largest bat species, the bats have a wolf-like face, reddish-brown fur and a nearly 1-meter wingspan. At dusk, the bats swoop out of the trees to feed, dining on fruit and the young leaves of nearby Bodhi trees, mango trees and tamarind trees.
Ganesha Park Khlong Khuean the worlds biggest standing Ganesha statue is located in the park.

The best trip outside of Bangkok to see amazing temples! Our guide Tanya, was so knowledgeable and accommodating, the driver was great! Anything we needed was available- water, cold towel, and everywhere we went, we popped up with a car to pick us up! Best part - sugar plum visits. I am gonna leave it a surprise for you to see for yourself! Don’t miss this.

What a great day - my husband and I were picked up from our hotel in Bangkok by our tour guide Mr Chan. He was a great driver, guide, spoke good English, made sure we had enough water and bathroom stops and went out of his way to make our trip amazing. Chachoengsao is about an hour's drive out of Bangkok, but well worth the visit. We visited a local market, saw some incredible statues and temples, had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, relaxed during a boat ride down the Bang Pakong River and visited the Wat Pho Bang Khla temple and Wat Paknam Jolo temple (golden temple). We really enjoyed the pace of the trip and also visiting an area that was not touristy. Thank you so much Mr Chan.

It was a very private tour as it was only the three of us with the tour guide, Toon. This was great as we were able to spend more time in each location and get a sense of the historical background of the places we visited. We started the tour with the 100 year old market. This was really quiet as we came on a weekday. To see the full extent of the busy market, try booking the tour on a weekend. We had already been to the floating market so didn't mind that there is not many people around. Makes good photo opportunities. Next was the temple where the Ganesh is. Here we took the time to take some nice photos and walked around. There is food here and some sounvenir vendors. Next was the temple with the bats, this was really interesting place, luckily the bats didn't bother us :) and just slept on the trees. The highlight of the tour, which my parents really liked was the Palm Sap Village. The vendor gave us lots of samples of the palm fruit and drinks to try, which were really delicious and flavourful. We got to learn how the palm sugar was extracted. This experience you can't get anywhere else. I'd recommend using this tour as it is small and if you're lucky become a private tour. The van we travelled is super comfortable and cool at all times. Try visitng chachoengsao before it become super busy with tourists as we can see a lot of road construction is underway

If you want to get off the path and see sights you would not normally see, this is a great tour. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The temples and river cruise were very interesting and enjoyable. Lunch was in a beautiful riverside restaurant. The food was ordered in advance by the guide and was so-so. If you are concerned about eating good Thai food, I would interject and get involved in the food order. The market in the morning had great food and was a good first stop. We ate several things there.

We had a wonderful trip with Jackie. He was on time and well educated about the sites. The trip overview that was listed was well aligned with our travels. Beautiful sites in a remote part of Thailand. Lunch was wonderful in a great river side restaurant. The car was very comfortable. We would highly recommended this trip especially if you are looking to see some sites that are not on the common tourist trails.
