Our tour with Mathilda was great! The roads to the farm were winding but very cool. The goat farm was adorable and we had lots of time to pet them and then enjoy their delicious goat cheese! Never had cheese like that in our lives. Then headed to the winery, they change up the one they go to every so often. The wine was great and we got to taste a lot and buy a bottle to bring home. The only thing we wish we did was go to the actual vineyard for the winery and get to see the vines up close. Other than that was great and would recommend!

Great fun. Wonderful guides. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Wine and cheese were great and the goats were super friendly. This was a great afternoon and a good chance to see the countryside. Thank you

Great way to taste a lot of different local wines and local cheeses. The two stops include a picturesque farm south of Lyon where you meet the goats, as well as a stop at the wine store where they make the wine.

Mathilde was a fantastic guide. To combine wine tasting with visits to farm where goat cheese is made was a unique experience. Fun!

Julie was our tour guide (8 people). On the ride to our first stop, we were challenged by sniffing different tiny bottles to discern the notes we would find in the wines. It was quite fun and broke the ice in a mini van full of strangers. We visited a family owned goat farm and cheese producer where we met the goats prior to tasting their cheese! Our second stop was at a small family owned winery. The wine was delicious. Julie has an excellent knowledge of the area as well as the wines and cheeses. She has a great personality and obviously loves her work. I would definitely take another tour with Rhône Trip and Julie.

I gave this tour as a present to my parents and they were very enthusiastic about it. The visit to the goat and wine farm was very interesting and they had the opportunity to taste delicious products and wine. They came home with a lot of nice food :-) They enjoyed their great guide Julie, which they would love to do another tour with! They would very much recommend this tour and this guide to eveyone staying in Lyon!

We were a party of 5 traveling through Europe. We booked this tour and the guide picked us up in a comfortable van at 9 AM. We wondered how we would drink wine that early in the day.....what a silly thought. The first stop was a goat farm (wear closed shoes) where we sampled a cheese at different aging stages. The guide brought white wine to accompany the cheese. Then we went to a winery, where she had a different cheese for each wine paring. It was a great morning. We saw how the wine is processed, took a tour of the vineyards, it was just delightful. It was nice that it was a private tour, just the wine maker, the guide, and the 5 of us.
