  • An excellent trip with a very good guide Kitty? who was informative, confident and helpful. As others have said, it was worth boarding early to get a seat on the upper deck - the boat was very full, some people standing. You might want to take a cushion - the seats are unforgiving for a 90 minute trip. It might have been good to pause occasionally for photos, but we did cover all 3 legs of the river so there would not have been much time. We had brilliant weather: worth praying for - a day later, it rained all day.

  • This tour of the pizza tour or must dos in Chicago

  • My companion and I were in Chicago late September and took the 4pm 90 minute architectural river cruise. The weather was perfect and our guide was very knowledgeable about the buildings and history of the city. We had a wonderful time! FYI - arrive at least 30 minutes early so you can find seats on the upper deck. We sat below, which was fine, but at times the upper deck overhang obstructed our view.

  • It is once of a life time experience on the Chicago River cruise. The tour was informative and breathtaking as you see all the views that walking on land couldn't give so relaxing and stress free. We took the cruise on a beautiful summer sunny day. The guide was knowledgeable of the history surrounding the area and all the famous buildings that have stood up against time reflecting the architectural beauty and importance to the community. We are a city people and this is a must if you are one of those kinds, but I'm sure it will be enjoyed by anyone.

  • The tour was Chicago from the water, with a very knowledgeable guide explaining what we were seeing. All the seats were good, although getting to the venue at least 30 minutes early insures you get the seat you want. However, I would not want to take this tour in bad weather.

  • Absolutely fabulous!!

  • As a first timer to Chicago, this river cruise was excellent. Beginning with the receptionist at the ticket office who was very welcoming and efficient. The ticket office facilities very good. The cruise guide was very informative and experienced as with the rest of the crew. The trip along both the North and South sides of the city was just the ticket for this short visit. The only down side was the weather.

  • We had a very nice time on the boat...a beautiful day too....Just a warning to visitors that the line to get on the boat starts forming very early so that you may get a seat on the top deck. We weren't so lucky so we sat underneath. View still good but would have liked to sat above. They had good cookies and drinks on board and the bathroom for ladies was very well kept.
