Guests are required to check in 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

All passengers over 18 years of age must have a valid photo ID. At least one passenger 18 years or older must be on the tour.

    we liked the employees very much. But the tour is little bit short, it takes only 15 minutes. Time is not enough tour for city.

    This was the highlight of my trip!! I travel to Chicago frequently and wanted to check this off my bucket list. The facility was clean and the staff in the terminal were very friendly. We went through a thorough safety briefing before boarding and they take a picture of you before you board the helicopter. I wasn't expecting the helicopter to be as big as it was, but it was definitely reassuring to be flying in something that looked and felt really safe. When you take off you're right in the middle of the Chicago skyline. We flew up and down the shoreline and was able to get great pics of the buildings below. The pilot pointed out things along the trip but the coolest thing I thought was you could speak to him through your headset. We had a couple people on the flight that joked with the pilot and made the flight really entertaining. Overall it was a great experience. Next time I'm in Chicago I'm bringing my co-worker on a night tour!

    This was a fabulous tour. We left around sunset and the views were awesome. I can't thank the staff enough for helping me with a lost phone issue I had at the time of check in. SUPER SERVICE!!

    Really amazing time! Very easy to access via the Orange Line a 250 foot walk at most. Greeted very warmly upon arrival and was given a buzzer to know when it was time to head over to pre-flight. Jenga, Uno, Cards, and music were all a nice touch as you wait for the pre-flight. The video in the pre-flight was very informative and very much made everything easy to understand for when/how to board the helicopter. The flight last around a good 15/20 minutes and you were able to see the city from both the east lake and west sides. Pilot was spectacular and you could tell he'd been doing this for a long time. In the helicopter you get noise canceling headphones which play music, something I really enjoyed instead of just silence. Landing back at heliport was nice and smooth and they have pictures waiting from earlier for sale. There are also free lockers to put your stuff in while on the ride! Overall, really a once in a lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves the city of Chicago/looking for something new and exciting!

    Great flight around Chicago and very professional setup at the heliport. We went to the Willis Tower in the morning to view downtown and then took a flight in the afternoon. I would suggest saving money on the Willis Tower visit and use it towards the flight as the experience is much better. Yes, the flight is quite short but to us, it didn't feel like it.
    We now plan to take a night flight on our return to Chicago as this will provide a different view of the city.
    Booking via Viator was very easy although the time advertised on the website changed by 90 mins on receipt of the official booking confirmation so suggest you call Chicago Helicopter Experience directly before booking on Viator to check flight time options.

    Ride was great, but DO NOT be late for your check-in time. We left 1 hour early from the City for a 10 minute Uber ride that ended up to be a 35 min ride due to traffic and construction. We were in contact with the company via email and 3 phone calls. Upon arrival we were checked in and given a buzzer for a scheduled flight within 10 mins of our scheduled flight time. So we were late for the 30 min. check-in time, but were allowed to fly. After a 35 min. wait and buzzer still in hand, we were still waiting for a paid and scheduled flight. After contacting the front desk asking what the delay was, she and Zach stated that due to our late check in for a scheduled flight, we were bumped down to a different time. I suggested that the information be explained upon check-in instead making people wait without an explanation. Customer service? Perhaps we were detained for punishment for being late. Regardless, all your possessions such as scarves, purses bags etc cannot be on board. Youll have to lock them up in their lockers. Free! Good history area, waiting room less than neat, organized and the furniture seemed rather used. Part of the lights were turned off, so the commodious room was more than half in the dark. Good games to play while you wait w/oversized Jenga and Bag game. Nice large windows to watch landings and take off. Lots of for four people and nominal waiting room esthetics, customer service and communication. Nice chopper ride during the late afternoon. Would suggest if you like trailer-like surroundings. Suitcase List checked off. Thank you!
