A good day trip as expected. Had come across lot of positive reviews about this company during my research on trips to Chichen-Itza. Our tour guide Samy is like an abuelo who has lot of knowledge about the history and local culture and can talk about it for hours. He is an old-school tour guide so some may not like his style but each to their own. He constantly welcomed questions from guests which was admirable. We were given two hours at Samaal Cenote which was enough for a dip followed by a filling buffet lunch. The stop at Valladolid was only for 30min though. Some may not find that sufficient enough time to explore the city and its colonial architecture fully but it is what it is. The only thing I didn't appreciate is the shop where they stop for free tequila tasting is unnecessarily expensive. I know that for sure because I was in Mercado 28 and 23 in Cancun the previous day! I am all up for supporting the local community and craftsmen but that's just day light robbery. Not the fault of the tour company as they are not forcing you to buy anything from the shop. Stay strong and don't let anyone guilt trip you to purchase items at exorbitant prices. You have the right to walk out if you want.

Very good tour of Chichen Itza, guide gave extensive info of the Maya calendar and its relation to the main pyramid. Would have enjoyed more time to walk around and see the other structures. The Saamal cenote is breath taking and a refreshing swim. The restaurant was clean and very good tasting. Well run Cenote. Valladolid is a beautiful place and prime example of colonial cities in Mexico. 12 hours yes but depends on where your pick-up hotel is. 5 hours round trip in a comfortable air-conditioned bus with a bathroom was not bad at all.

Amazing day getting out of playa, seeing the big pyramid has been on my bucket list and then having lunch and swimming in a sink hole was the cherry on top. We had to reschedule due to a missed flight connection and was super easy to change!

Great tour with a lot of information. The Chichen Itza was really interesting, also Samy our guide gave us all the information about it. On the bus ride we got a lot of Infos about the region and Mexico itself. The stop at cenote with th buffet was also good. At the last stop, the city of Valladolid, you get an impression of a typical mexican city, in case you're only experiencing the hotel area of Cancun the rest of your trip. Thanks to our great guide Samy and Alfonso who drove as save everywhere.
