Gabriel was the best! He was so knowledgeable and made it so interesting for us. Loved the small group!

This was a fantastic day. The tour company picked us up early and got us on the road quickly out to Chichén Itzá first thing. We were one of the first groups in, which was great. It wasn’t crowded and we didn’t have to wait long to take pictures in front of the ruins. Our guide, Gabriel, was charming and organized. He brought us around to all of the sights and explained the significance and details. He gave us free time and was clear about where we needed to be and at what time. We spent three hours there and easily could have spent another. Next we traveled back down the road to Ik Kil cenote. This was beautiful and one of the highlights of our entire trip to Mexico. We spent about 45 minutes swimming and then had a nice lunch. After that we headed down the road again to Coba, our last stop. This wasn’t as developed as Chichén Itzá, which was kind of nice. It was less crowded and we got the opportunity to take a lovely walk through the jungle to the ruins. Gabriel gave us historical context the whole time. He also made sure we got plenty of bathroom breaks in our 300 mile round trip trek. This is a long day so make sure you wear good shoes and comfortable clothes. It was well worth the cost in time and money. Thanks to Gabriel for such a great day!

This was a really amazing trip. It was well organised with great communication from the tour operator regarding timing and the pickup. Pickup was perfectly on time. The trip is just as described. Small group - on our trip I think there were 8 of us. Snacks and water provided for the 2.5hr journey to Chichen Itza. The tour guides were friendly and polite. With Gabrielle providing the English part of the tour. And the other guide providing the tour in Spanish. Both guides were really knowledgable and helpful throughout the day. Chichen Itza is just amazing and we arrived shortly after opening. Allowing us to get early morning pictures and before it got too busy. The Centoe IK KIL, was a really lovely place. Well organised, with changing rooms and lockers. This is also where we had lunch, which was really good. Excellent food - buffet style. Finally there was the visit to Cobá. There are some magnificent ruins here, surrounded by the jungle. Unfortunately, because we were now in the mid-afternoon, the weather had changed, and so the rain moved in. But we still enjoyed it. Personally, I would have preferred to skip the Cenote and just concentrate on the archeological sites. During the part of the day with the better weather. But overall, this was an excellent trip. Definitely worth the early start. And the guys are very friendly and helpful.

Gabriel was a fantastic tour guide.helpful, friendly, interesting knowledge about the places we visited. Well organised, timings of the stops were about right. Could have had slightly longer for lunch at the cenote

We had a wonderful tour! Eder was our tour guide, and he was knowledgeable and passionate about everything we did during the tour. The whole experience was incredibly well run, and we had a great experience! Everything was included, and the only thing we paid for additionally were bikes in Coba, which was optional.

We had Francisco as our guide--absolutely amazing! Personable, knowledgeable, and a great sense of humor. My 6yo and 9yo were engaged the entire time and left with a lot of information retained. He knew exactly the right spots to get wonderful pictures, had some great connections to a couple of Mayan families, and certainly knew how to make this entire trip memorable for my family and I.

My husband and I traveled to Quintana Roo specifically for this experience. I am a teacher and teach about the Maya empire. Our tour was confirmed for 6:00 am., and we arrived at 5:45 am to be safe, but nobody showed. After many attempts to contact the tour operator, (the number listed in the booking was incorrect) he said they changed the pickup time to 5;30 am the day before travel, but he couldn’t reach me because Viator/Trip Advisor had relayed to him the wrong country code and now it was too late to get us. Trip Advisor/Viator has refused to refund the $318 we paid despite all of the printed and screen-captured evidence. After years of only booking through them for everything from Viking tours on Icelandic horses to Stockholm ferry-rides, this will be my last tour with this company. Can’t express enough my disappointment that this company worth 200 million can’t give a teacher the price of her no-show tour back. :(

We were picked up early for the tour (05.45) but the early start is so worth it because we arrived at Chichen Itza not long after it opened, got to take pictures while it was quiet and leave as the crowds are arriving. There are many, many souvenirs you can pick up here but make sure to haggle!! The cenote was beautiful and even if you don't want a swim you can enjoy the scenery and take pictures. And the last stop was Coba which was late in the afternoon which was perfect as again you miss the crowds. There is a fair amount of shade from the jungle as you make your way through to Honoch Mul (the main temple) and you can either walk (20ish minutes depending on how fast you walk), you can bike or you can take a 'taxi' which has a seat on the front and a bike at the back with someone pedaling you through the jungle. This is about 150 pesos each way. We had 2 tour guides, Yolo and Francisco who are both wonderful - knowledgeable, funny and informative. It was a long day but it didn't feel like it, you get to see/do things at the best times and in a small group which is great if you like asking questions. If you want to do Chichen Itza in the best way possible - this is it!
