We went to Chichen Itza in late Feb of 2020. One of the most memorable moments of my life. Our tour guides were not only entertaining but VERY knowledgeable. Our overall experience was excellent.
Note that our pickup point from our all inclusive was at the GATE not the front lobby. Make sure you know that. Its a long day from the Mayan Riviera. The big bus is great, lots to drink and we stopped for food. Make sure you have a few items to entertain yourself. -
Our tour guides were professional ,very knowledgeable, and entertaining plus very courteous.
They made the long bus ride enjoyable, and provided us with lots of information. -
Because I wanted to avoid spending time by picking up people from many hotels, I asked before booking this trip what is the capacity of the bus. I was assured that it does not ecceds 25 people. That was not the case. The bus was scheduled to leave at 7 am but we did not leave until 8.45am. About an hour later we arrived to another bus station where we paid additional $60 for "tax". The cost of this trip was originally $189.60 for 3 person. We returned back to hotel at 9.30pm. I would rather paid for taxi $250 to Chichen-Itza round trip and avoid all these obstacles.

The tour guides were excellent. They really know the history of these incredible Mayan sites. The way they present the information is both entertaining and educational. This was an experience that we will never forget!
-
Excellent day, very knowledgeable guides who looked after the group well - very happy to recommend this tour.
-
not premiere at all, blended with all other groups. 56 people in a large bus, might as well as join other standard tour; the only thing premiere is you getting more soda and water

Our tour guides Victor and David were the best guides I've ever had. This was my second time to Chichen Itza and it far surpassed the first time because of them. They were very knowledgeable, funny, helpful and were just all around great! Before visiting Chichen Itza we stopped at Suytun cenote, which was a little crowded but worth checking out. My only small complaint is, I wished we had more time in the city of Valladolid. The tour buses stop in this beautiful town at a park that has AMAZING street food and Mayan performers. The elote and churros are a must try!

A good tour, with ample time at each of the attractions, tour guides very passionate and knowledgeable (Michael and David). The first stop was a drive through of a Mayan Village, that stopped at a tourist market place with Cenote for swimming and restaurant buffet for food (you have to have or hire a life vest to swim... I'm a good swimmer and I found this actually hampered my ability to swim! - but I guess health and safety rules the world!!); next stop was to Chichen Itza where we had an hour long tour with the guide going through the history, theories and archeology then we had free time for photos, souvenir shopping and to grab a snack or drink, the last stop was a 30 minutes stop in Valladolid square where there are street food vendors, live entertainment and artisan shops lining the square, which was nice to have a quick walk through before heading back to hotels.

Cancun Bay Tours provided an unforgettable day!! Our tour guides, Viktor and Alex, were knowledgeable, entertaining and hospitable. They both 'know their stuff' and are passionate about sharing the history of the Mayan people and culture. They made the day a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
