Beautiful garden that provokes inspiration and thought. Wonderfully manicured and boasts a wide variety of plants, rocks and bird life. The water lizards are also adorable. I highly recommend visiting these gardens. They're worth every cent.

This was definitely nice to visit. I’ve seen bigger and nice gardens but it’s was worth the visit. A nice break from the hustle of the city and a chance to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the garden.
-
The garden is a fair size with lovely water features and buildings. It’s a welcoming, calming atmosphere just a short distance from the city center.
-
Absolutely stunning and peaceful spot in the middle of Sydney CBD. The gardens are immaculately kept and are a delightfully calming and tranquil place to spend some time while you’re in the city. The beautiful bonsais, water features, bridges, rock formations and elegant koi all make the experience something to remember.

The nature, it was so peaceful and beautiful. Definitely a hidden gem in Sydney. I am glad I got a chance to visit as I was only in Sydney for one night.
-
A peaceful place in the center of Sydney. We feel like if we are in an other place. The gardens are wonderful I recommend
-
Amazingly peaceful and relaxing. Such a great place with amazing design and layout. Really with visiting and taking time to slow down and enjoy it

According to a pamphlet, this garden is modeled after the Chinese principle of yin and yang and the opposing and complementary ideas of Yin and Yang. Throughout the gardens the elements of wood, fire, earth metal and water can be seen. It was built as a sign of friendship between Australia and China. Not to be missed is the Dragon Wall, Water, Clear View and Round Pavilion, and the Rock Arch. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed the calming properties of the gardens. The gardens are in the middle of Sydney and are accessible by public transportation. There is an entrance fee.

At Tumbalong Park , Darling Harbour & surrounded by busy Sydney .. is the well maintained & beautified green space of the Chinese Garden Of Friendship The only disappointment I found whilst exploring the Chinese Garden of Friendship .. is the garden isn’t fully wheelchair friendly I highly recommend visiting here , whilst in inner Sydney

Lovely gardens that are much larger than we imagined, being in a small corner of Sydney we almost missed it. Beautifully maintained & cared for gardens. Peaceful & quiet even the geckos are chilled. There was a feeding frenzy when the Koi were fed but that settled quickly. The pagodas are majestic, the symbolism strong. Lovely visit.
