Overview
Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal which was established in 1973 AD. The national park lies inside the subtropical Terai region at the south central Nepal and is 97 km away from the countrys capital. The altitude of Chitwan ranges from river valleys (100m) to the Churia hills (850m) and has the tropical monsoon climate with high humidity. The ethnic groups living here are Tharu communities representing their cultures village and Tharu dance performances.Chitwan is the home to one-horned rhinoceros and royal Bengal tiger, which are endangered and rare species in the world. Inside the park has 68 species of mammals and 543 species of birds youd get to see in the Jeep Safari. Other than safari has the exciting canoeing at Rapti river. Overall, Chitwan National Park was renowned as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1984.

Day 1: Fly to Bharatpur airport. Drive to hotel.

Meet the representative who assist you to the private vehicle and drive to Kathmandu airport. Take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur which takes around 30 minutes.

At Bharatpur airport, the another local representative will pick you throught their private car and drive/transfer to the hotel in Chitwan. Have a warm welcome and a lunch in the hotel.

Day 2: Jungle activities in Chitwan National Park

You will have a Jeep Safari inside the national park. Deep down the jungle, you can observe various animals and birds species including rare wildlife like one-horned Rhino and royal Bengal tiger.

Canoeing at Rapti river is another way to encounter the wildlife specially crocodile and gharials. You will enjoy the close up view of water animals and their lifestyle.

Visit the Elephant breeding center, which is one of the only two Elephant breeding center in the world. You can learn the nature and breeding of elephants from the experts.
