Itinerary
Day 1: Reims - Metz - Strasbourg
Stop At: Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims, Place du Cardinal Lucon, 51100, Reims France
Our first stop will be in Reims, with an obligatory visit to its stunning gothic cathedral or one of the Champagne cellars that the region is famous for (to choose).
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Metz, Metz, Moselle, Grand Est
We will have lunch in Metz.
Then we will meet Jean, a glass craftsman, who will show us all the secrets to the fabrication of stained glass.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Strasbourg, Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin, Grand Est
We will finally reach Strasbourg, a city that will immerse us in the magic of Christmas. Together well visit the illuminated streets and marvel at the oldest Christmas market (since 1570)! Well end the day with a typical Alsatian dinner, and if the calendar allows it, we may be lucky enough to see a traditional Christmas carol concert.

Day 2: Gertwiller - Chateau of Haut-Koenisgbourg - Colmar

After spending the night in a charming bed and breakfast (or hotel), well discover the world of sweet Christmas delicacies with Michel, in particular the gingerbread that he bakes for famous French clients and for you! Alain will then take us on a tour of his vineyards and cellars, then host us for a winetasting around a cheese board, local charcuterie and other secret specialties of the house.

In the afternoon, well take a trip back in time with a visit to the famous medieval castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg, a beautiful vista point to soak in panoramic views of the region.

Stop At: Domaine Achillee, 50 rue de Dambach Sur la route des vins d'Alsace, sortie de Scherwiller vers Dambach-la-ville, 67750 Scherwiller France
Well then share a special encounter with a new generation of winemakers. Pierre and Jean make biodynamic wine and will explain why they chose this new method to farm the vine and craft their wine. Well taste wines that are found nowhere else in the world!

Stop At: Colmar, Colmar, Haut-Rhin, Grand Est
The day will end in Colmar, with its authentic Christmas market that fills you with childlike wonder. Colmar isnt nicknamed the "Little Venice for nothing, and we will take an enchanting boat ride along the canals. A traditional dinner, and perhaps other surprises, will wrap up our day.

Day 3: Eguisheim - Munster - Vittel - Troyes
Stop At: Eguisheim, Eguisheim, Haut-Rhin, Grand Est
Our third day begins in Eguisheim, a medieval village ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, where another charming Christmas market attracts young and old. Well try our hand at carving glass Christmas ornaments with Steve, an artisanal glass craftsman.

Stop At: Munster, Munster, Haut-Rhin, Grand Est
Then well embark on the route of the five castles that will lead us to Munster (and its cheese)! There, pastry chef Willy will teach us how to make a famous Alsatian specialty: the pretzel.

Stop At: Vittel, Vittel, Vosges, Grand Est
We will get back on the road in the early afternoon with a stop in Vittel, a spa resort whose natural mineral water is appreciated throughout the world.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Troyes, Troyes, Aube, Grand Est
We will dine in the historical center of Troyes before reaching Paris by evening.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
