Know More about this tour

Spend a Sunday morning in the village of ilipi, where traditional folk dances are held every week. You will have a traditional ilipi welcome with dry figs and herb brandy, followed by a walk through this picturesque village with its typical rural architecture.

Experience the richness in culture, folklore traditions and beautiful national costumes. Take a stroll around the many stands at the Sunday Fair, where you will have the chance to buy traditional handmade souvenirs and embroideries.

Youll also have the option to attend the mass at St Nicholas church, where you can see the village people dressed in their traditional folk costumes. In the area in front of the church, enjoy a folklore performance of dances and folk music. You can also visit the Konavle Ethnographic Museum, arranged like a typical Konavle house with objects of daily use, jewelry and festive wedding costumes.

It will certainly be a morning to remember!

We attended the mass but it was not English so we observed but couldn't really participate. We did enjoy the music and dancing. It would be nice if authentic food could be added to the tour.

This was a delightful day out. The folk dancing was spectacular. There was proper seating.

    Beautiful!

Lovely to see the local dancing and crafts. Nice way to spend a Sunday morning although not much to see in the village. You get a free entry to the museum which is worth a bit of time and the welcome drink was nice. We arrived quite early and although the town is very nice, it is small and the 'wait' time for the performance was a little long. Overall though, a very nice excursion.
