We liked seeing the different parts of Puerto Vallarta with the ease of a Segway. Izzi was a great and informative guide.

We were very excited about spending an afternoon touring the city on a Segway. Quite disappointed in the fact that after stressing that we were both amateurs on the segways our guide insisted on taking us on narrow, busy sidewalks. Jose discouraged us from taking a ride up to the Taylor home because of the rough terrain since this was our first time. My partner lost control of her segway TWICE because of a narrow sidewalk that had 6 inch concrete that surrounded trees. BOTH times for the same reason. After the 2nd time of losing control of her segway she refused to continue. Hard for us to understand why Jose would even take us on the narrow sidewalk a second time. My partner was injured after the second fall. Never heard from the lady who owned the business. I would think that the guide wouldve had to explain to her why he was having to take 3 segways, one at a time, back to her. The guide knew that my partner had a significant fall. There were 2 men and a lady who witnessed the fall and were concerned enough to ask us if they could call for medical assistance. Our guide was a very nice young man but seriously disconnected of our needs as first timers. Also, there is NOT a lite lunch associated with this tour. Jose acted surprised when we asked about the lunch. Yet, later admitted that others had asked about it before too. Take this tour only if you have previous experience on a segway and not expecting much.
