Brilliant tourist attraction - well worth your time and money! The driver and tour guide were the same person - Seamus; his points of interest were brilliant and his jokes along the way made everyone laugh out loud. Brilliant couple hours!

We had a fantastic day hopping on and hopping off the sightseeing bus. Mike our driver was great, he was very informative with lots of fun facts along the way. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city, it was just a shame about the weather!

I knew I wanted to do this Hop On Hop Off bus tour while I was in Belfast but to pre book online beforehand I had to know what date I wanted to do it, so I decided to just book it when I wanted to do it. The price turned out to be no different (£18 for a one day ticket). I bought the ticket and picked the bus up outside City Hall and stayed on it for the entire route. It took around 90 minutes to complete. I did the Black Cab tour of the murals in the morning and then this one straight away afterwards as I wanted to spend some more time between the gates of the Protestant & Catholic sides of the city, to take it all in and reflect. The voice over was in English but it looked like there were headsets available for other languages. The bus driver spoke from time to time to us know what stop number we were upto on the map and to point out anything significant along the way. I did this in March 2023 and it was dry during the journey. I would recommend clothing for all occasions though if you're going to be sat in the open top section as although the seats looked dry, my bottom & legs were wet when I stood up to exit at the end.

We took the first tour on Sunday morning. Our guide, Lisa, brought the tour to life with her enthusiasm and humour and we enjoyed it so much we did another circuit later in the day. This was a great introduction to the city and good value too.

Good: Interesting 90mins circuit of city and suburbs. Enjoyed it overall thanks. X. Bus driver not keen to stop for us… we were definitely at a public bus stop, clearly visible for 200metres as the bus approached, and we were waving very noticeably but she gesticulated like “I do t know how to pull over” as she was in the overtaking lane on 2lane road… she should’ve pulled over much earlier. We had waited almost 30mins and were not happy at the prospect of being missed for such a lame reason. X. Hard to find a bus stop to get on… they didn’t appear to be marked at all, and the map was very poor. X. Had intended to do a loop then go and visit some main sights later, but had misunderstood (due to no info provided) the concept so had not been aware it is only 1 way/clockwise, so it would have taken us about 75mins repeating the same route just to get back to the stop we wanted.

A group of us were in Belfast for 3 days, and so wanted to get a feel for the place, and I always find that bus tours are worth doing, as you can then plan where to go. This was a very informative tour, getting in all the important places, except The Parliament Buildings for some reason. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and it set us up for the rest of our visit.

The first bus was a little slow, the lady though lovely just seemed to try to hard and the driver was aa little fast. The 2nd bus was brilliant, guided was funny, involving passengers, having fun which convaded to the enjoyment of the tour.

Went on the bus tour of Belfast late Feb with a group of 4. Lisa and John were our companions for the trip and what a witty, informative, engaging experience it was. I would challenge anyone to not find this a place of real interest. I have travelled the world and been round many soulless cities and Belfast DOES NOT fall into that category. Hop on and off the bus as many times as you like - the buses are every half hour. Lisa is also a DJ for a local radio station 89FM and if you fancy yourself as a speaker I would advise you to listen to these dulcet Irish tones. This is not a script followed diatribe that washes over you whilst you bide your time for lunch. The words uttered are heart-felt and deep, light hearted and yet genuine. This is no rollercoaster of verbiage, it is interesting, engaging and I could ride this ride all day long. Get on that bus folks!!

We went on the bus tour after buying tickets at the Tourist information. The tour began outside the Town Hall. The top of the double Becker bus is half covered so it can get chilly if you are upstairs but it’s great for photos! The drivers were knowledgeable and the buses ran to time every half hour. We stayed on the bus for the full circuit then got off on the next route although it was so fascinating at the museum that we didn’t get enough time to see everything we wanted so a two day pass may have been better!
