The tour starts at 9:00am where we will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in Santiago. We will then proceed and visit the rich and historic downtown where we will come by the same places as the Spanish settlers did, when they founded the city in 1541, like The Plaza de armas where The Catedral of Santiago is located, The ex Government Building, Santa lucia hill, The National Library, Central market, La moneda palace (Changing of the Guard depend on the day), and much more.

We will also show you Barrio bellavista, a wonderful bohemian neighborhood, where you easily can enjoy a night out with gastronomy, drinks and much more. The area has a variety of activities like San Cristobal hill, the Zoo and the museum of Pablo Neruda “La chascona”.

Then we proceed to a Nineteenth century neighborhood which still has many mansions, many of which are nowadays restored to become university buildings. If you like, we’ll also stop in the Club Hipico Race Track, to go to the modern part of the city in the financial district “Sanhattan”, Costanera center, El Golf and Bicentennial Park. We look forward to showing and guiding you through our wonderful capital

Nuestro guía Julio hizo un excelente trabajo explicándonos toda la historia y lugares de interés por Santiago, siempre con una amabilidad y atención inigualable. El recorrido por el viñedo Undurraga no fue lo mejor pero se agradece la experiencia.

Our guide Alexis and driver Rodrigo were excellent. Very informative tour with good humour. The Concho y Toro extension was well worth the visit.

Great tour. Highly recommend the Concha Y Toro portion of tour. The "Garden of Vines" where you could taste most of the varietal grapes that are used for their wine production. So unique and tour was very informative.

Francisco did a great job talking about Santiago and its history, and showing us around. We had a great time with Ruben also going to the Concho Y Toros winery

We booked this tour as a city tour and a visit to a winery. We did not know we could book the city tour alone without the winery. We found this out on the tour as one couple was only doing the city tour which ended at 2pm. Our city guide Alexis left at 2pm while the driver, Alejandro continued the tour taking us to the vineyard. The city tour online description lists the various city stops so we did not expect to be walking from 9am to 2pm as the description did not say this was a walking tour of the city. I did my 10,000 steps. The six of us on the tour opted to see more and skip lunch. The tour of the winery was very nice but do not expect tastings as in other countries. We were given three tiny tastings of one white and two reds. A second sip is refused. If you want to try a different wine you heard about and might buy it is not included or allowed. This was very disappointing and we would not have included the visit to the vineyard had we known this fact. I guess the other couple was better informed as they left at 2pm only booking the city tour. While Alexis is very informative he should be made aware that people are on a tour wanting to see the highlights with a brief description. We are not students preparing for an exam. We would recommend the tour as a walking tour and skip the winery.

We chose an organised tour because of uncertainty following the riots. The half day in the city ticked most of the right boxes. (We missed Cerro Santa Lucia because there was no parking for the bus). The combination of bus and walking worked well. The winery tour was excellent. Nice wines, pleasant surroundings. Included cellars, tasting, but not wine production facilities. Guide was helpful. We were outside their normal pickup zone but were able to negotiate pickup at additional cost. The only real negative is that they don’t confirm the tours until the night before, so you could find that your tour doesn’t run. Also they communicate via email, so you need to have access to that. We were happy enough that we booked a second trip with them later.

First we started to do the city tour and made several stops including a little bit of a walking tour which was great as we could see in details various sites. The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had and even more. After we had lunch in a local restaurant which was great. Then on to the winery and wine tasting. It gave us a very good overview of the largest winery in Chile. We tasted three different kind of wines included in price of excursion. Overall a very pleasant day

The first half of the tour was an absolutely terrible. Our city tour guide, Alexis, was awful. He did not tell us it was a walking tour. At the first stop, he told us to leave our water and pack sacks in the van and that we would be right back but we walked around for 4+ hours in the hot Santiago sun, no shade, +30 degrees C, no water, 6 seniors. He did not stop for lunch, even when asked numerous times to please stop. I had to leave the tour group, grab something from a street vendor for my wife and I to eat and drink something, then find the tour group again. He abandoned us 3 times to take phone calls on his cell, once disappearing for 20 minutes (we did not know where he went). But he did manage to come back with a lunch for himself. He kept giving us his own political opinions even though he said he was a true anarchist. Tour guides should not express their own personal political opinions or vent their frustrations at the government.

If your tour guide for the city tour is Alexis, don`t go and ask for a refund. If you do decide to go, be prepared. Bring water and food even if he says you don`t need it.

The second half of the tour, the wine tasting was with a different guide. His name was Rodriguez and he was excellent. The wine tasting tour was amazing. It partly made up for a very bad experience in the morning.
