Superb. A wonderful sunset cruise on a restored wooden sailboat. Capt. Phillip was a great host. Highly recommended.

Phillip was our captain. He was friendly and interactive. His sail boat was small, clean and well maintained. We were with a three person family on the sail boat, which made for good conversation. Snacks and beverages were included. He took is out for about 2.5 hours, which was great. I'd definitely recommend.

We had an excellent sailing adventure with Captain Phillip and met new friends! I highly recommend this experience!

We had a spectacular time! The Liberty is a beautifully restored sailing yacht. Capt. Philip is knowledgeable and his gentle spirit made our evening most enjoyable. There were many boats racing in the harbor on Weds night and Capt Philip navigated smoothly and brilliantly. He answered our questions and had a nice variety of complimentary beverages. Thank you for a spectacular sunset sail! 🙏🩵💙 Warmly, Jana Scott

Captain Phil was amazing. Such a relaxing experience enjoying the beautiful sunset on the San Diego Bay.

  • 24-Jul-2023

Captain Phil was wonderful. My friend and I were aboard with four other people and we all got along very well; it made for a very fun evening. Captain Phil took us around the harbor for a few hours and pointed out a few landmarks and answered our never-ending barrage of questions for him. It was a lovely outing and I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants a nice, relaxing evening.

Captain Philip was a fantastic host and very knowledgeable about the San Diego harbor. Our family had an awesome experience aboard his boat, “Liberty”. We highly recommend his sunset tour if you visit San Diego!

  • 13-Jul-2023

I totally fell in love with the boat! So many beautiful features. Captain Phil was very chill and friendly and knew a lot about the harbor. We were happy he had IPA brews on board:) Other passengers were nice, too. Will totally do again if I get back to SD.

My Husband and I had planned a Sunset Sail trip for July 5th and had paid for it. Our flight was cancelled out of Denver on July 4th and the next opportunity was July 5th evening flight. It would have been physically impossible for us to make the reservation. I cancelled the reservation as soon as I was aware of the flight cancellation the night before. I contacted Viator and they were no assistance. I then contacted the company that operates the Sunset Sail. He was rude and not willing to help us. He stated that he did not have our name on his list. How can you take $270.00 from someone and not know who they are. It appears on my bank statement and Trip Advisor. Please beware as flights are cancelled frequently and you may also fall into the situation we did.
