  • My first note is that my group was lucky enough to be visiting Ireland during the once in a lifetime Hurricane Ophelia - the tour company was AWESOME in accommodating us to change days. Because we changed days, we had to take this tour on our last day in Galway. They kept our luggage secure under the bus for us all day so we could move onto our next destination after the tour with no problems.
This tour itself was great. Having the smaller stops on the way to and from the Cliffs of Moher really broke up the day and didn't make me feel like I was on a bus for hours on end. Of course the Cliffs were gorgeous! The Aillwee Cave was actually really cool! Better than expected, almost like a whole extra mini tour added on! The little restaurant we stopped in when visiting Doolin for lunch was great- plenty of options for everyone to experience some traditional irish food at a good price and they were able to handle a bus-load quickly with no issues. I would recommend this tour!

  • Gerard was a great host and getting picked up from our hotel with luggage was very much appreciated!
The ireland landscape is truly beautiful. My only regret is not having more time.

  • LOVED this tour. Our guide Patrick was also the driver and was skillful in knowing when to chat and when to let us listen to traditional Irish music and enjoy the scenery. Low pressure, relaxing, wonderful tour. The Cliffs of Moher are spectacular!!

  • Amazing tour!

  • WOW! What a wonderful adventure. The trip through the countryside included not only our ultimate stop at the Cliffs, but stops at Dunguaire Castle and the Aillwee Cave, with a nice lunch break on the way back in Doolin. The best part was by far the Cliffs, even with the gale force winds hold on to your hats, and all vital parts, this was a phenomenal site. But, the second highlight was the Cave tour, which we hadn't expected to be so interesting. We experienced at least four types of weather - overcast, rain, wind and sun - and beautiful rainbows over the water and pastures, so come prepared wear a hoodie and bring a waterproof jacket or rain poncho, too. A great trip.

  • I gave this the 1 star because I did get to see everything they promised, but this was not a pleasant experience. Considering the the difficulty of the roads traveled I was shocked to find that the bus driver was also the tour guide. He was neither interesting or engaging.
The roads were narrow, many were one lane, and wound around switchbacks, etc. The driver should have been left to simply drive. We had several short stops that were a little frightening. The air conditioning on the bus was broken. The driver/guide made no mention of this to anyone -- even when we asked for more air. At the first sign of a problem, he should have sent for a new bus. The ride was miserable and a couple of people came very close to getting sick. It was extremely uncomfortable and stressful. Additionally, because one or two of the tourists in the group had a 7:30 train to catch, the driver was constantly berating us about spending time at the sights we were there to see. At our final stop Dunguaire Castle we were given 7 minutes! The bus parking was at least a 3 minute walk to the castle. This was absolutely ridiculous! Once everyone got back on the bus, the driver actually scolded the stragglers! I would not recommend this tour to anyone. Steer clear!

  • We had good luck and it was a sunny day! Very recomended tour. We had a shepherd dogs show also!
