Know More about this tour

Get ready for a scenic coastal adventure as you meet your guide at 10am outside of Ballintoy Harbor. Before you embark for the morning of coasteering, you'll first be outfitted with wetsuit, helmet, neoprene socks and gloves, as well as a comfortable buoyancy aid for some added safety while swimming.

This trip in total lasts 2.5 hours, and after an introductory coasteering briefing about proper techniques and safety, you'll set out on foot to scramble, splash, and scour the rugged coast. Pass by sea caves and hidden beaches that are only accessible by foot, and if you're feeling brave and up to the challenge, there are even sections where you can summon the courage to do a bit ofcliff jumping. To prove you completed the entire experience, all participants will receive a photo as a souvenir of the adventure. With your heart racing and adrenaline pumping, the tour concludes at Ballintoy Harbor around 12:30pm.

  • This was one of the best trips I've ever done and most definitely the highlight of my sister and I's 3 days in Northern Ireland. We went with a small group which allowed us to really enjoy our interaction with our guide who was brilliant and funny and completely professional as well as with the amazing scenery of Ballintoy. Easily one of the most beautiful places in the world. You definitely have to be prepared to be out of your comfort zone especially if you are a bit scared of heights. Our wetsuits kept us pretty warm despite the frigid waters but being in the rough sea at those temperatures is the best way to get your adrenaline going. We worked our way up to higher and higher cliffs starting with a 10-15ft drop followed by a few fun but easy jumps. All along the way you are battling the tide and the long long seaweed but this is all part of the fun. We then scaled up a number of rocky cliffs and did jumps ranging from 20-35 feet and then I finished up with the final 40 footer. It is completely worth it to overcome any trepidation you may have and just jump in. I would highly recommend this experience and it was definitely the highlight and surprise of my 2 week trek through Northern Ireland and Ireland.
