Know More about this tour

We offer this tour daily. Meet at the cemetery gates at 9:30 am. This is not a ghost tour. Colonial Park Cemetery has vast and quirky history. Located in the center of our Historic District, this is one of the most visited locations for cemetery enthusiasts! This cemetery has history unlike any of the other cemeteries in the area.  You will learn about how the cemetery suffered during the Civil War, the Yellow Fever mass graves, plus the many duels that occurred near the cemetery, especially the duel between Button Gwinnett (signer of the Declaration of Independence) and Lachlan McIntosh. Private tours are available, please call the office!
