Had an awesome day and learned so much from Rolando. 5 Stars for Jacamar. Would highly recommend this group and tour. Even though it rained throughout the day the Hanging bridges, Volcano Hike and Waterfall were all amazing to see and learned so much.

First excursion was the Mistico Hanging Bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall and Arenal Volcano Hike with Hugo as our guide. Second excursion was the night walk with Diego and Francisco as our guides. Final excursion was the level 3 white water rafting with Francisco and Romeo as our guides. All of our tours were amazing and the guides went above and beyond to provide a great experience. They were knowledgeable, patient, and very friendly. I highly recommend any tour with this company based on our experience!

Absolutely loved all of it. The stairs from the waterfall were tough getting back up but well worth it. Our guide, Ronald, was full of enthusiasm and knowledge about the entire area. Would recommend to anyone physically fit enough to hike basic trails.

Knowing we were going to have only 2 days in the Arenal area we wanted to get a lot into a short amount of time. Our top sights were the Hanging bridges, waterfall and Hot Springs. This tour added in the volcano hike, as well. Our tour guide, Cindy, couldn’t be more pleasant and accommodating. We were a party of 6 and another party of 4 joined us on part of the tour. The bridges were a highlight, for sure. The 2 mile hike was not difficult and the foliage and fauna were beautiful to see. The bridges were fun to go across and the ones in our party who were afraid of heights manager just fine. The waterfall is gorgeous - the steps, however, proved that even the folks in good physical Condition may need a break occasionally. That said, we took our time and made it back up with a feeling of accomplishment. From there we had the most delicious lunch that was provided at a private location that was really great. The others on our tour got dropped off and we still had the 4 or so mile Hike around the volcano. Truth be told, we were just hoping to get to the hot springs, have a cocktail or 2 and relax. Since we were now the only party on the tour we asked our guide if we could skip the hike. She was able to accommodate our request and we spent a few hours at the springs instead. Overall, a great day! If you are going to to do all 4 activities, be ready for a very long, physical day. We were Lucky that Jacamar was able To work with us! Thank you, Cindy for s great day.

We did 4 activity combo Our guides Marco and Rolando were incredibly knowledgeable and we learned a lot of amazing details about sloths, ants, monkeys and many animals and plants. We also saw an large quantity of animals. The waterfall was majestic and we swam in it and took great pictures. The lunch which is provided by tue company, was at their ranch, surrounded by serene wildlife and beautiful flower and was delicious, and we had coffee and ice cream at the end. The walk up to 1968 trail was so fun - we did it on the rain but our small group wanted to “feel the rain” and we had an amazing experience! Thank you Marco for returning back and trying to hike again when the thunderstorm was gone. We were rewarded by being able to see Arenal volcano as clouds left for a short time. The thermal spring experience was ok, we enjoyed some of the pools there. The food (buffet) was not great though. This was our least favorite experience, the pools are not natural water, just different temperature and design pools, and it was getting late. Overall, great experience. If u want the 4 -in 1 experience, maybe pick another hot spring hotel, like Tabacon.

We had a great time on our 3 in 1 combination tour with Jacamar Tours! It was a great day of sight seeing. We definitely got our steps in. Allan was our primary guide. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants, and trees at the Hanging Bridges preserve. We didn't rush through the hike, so we could take in all the sights and sounds. The guides also pointed out a sloth while we were leaving the La Fortuna Waterfall! They stopped the van so we could all take a closer look through their scopes. Lunch was at Jacamar's own farm, with lots of fresh produce and local drinks. The coffee and Cacique Guaro were both a nice after meal treat. The Arenal Volcano hike was a moderately rigorous hike. Allan gave us a geology and history lesson about the 1968 eruption, which was fascinating! We saw and learned so much more by having a guide than if we had done these by ourselves. Allan entertained all our questions, regardless of how trivial. He and the rest of the Jacamar staff were top notch!
