What a great experience! PJ was an excellent driver and tour guide. We will return to take another tour with Viator and PJ.

I need to set things straight: our guide and driver was excellent . The tour, however, left to be desired. We never saw Ross Errily Friary . Tour guide informed us the location wouldn't allow large coaches to stop there. Then, the tour company should have arranged for smaller vans to bring us on the tour to the Abbey and the Friary. So, this tour ended up being a very long drive into Connemara with a stop to Kylemore Abbey. Once there, we had free time to visit the p,ace, but not enough time to visit and have a bite b/c of the crowds. Time management is of the essence for a tour to be successful and THIS TOUR lacked it. Definitely would not recommend to fellow travellers.

This was our second time doing this tour and we were glad we did. We saw things we did not see the first time around due to renovations. The tour operator was very insightful along the way.all in all it was a lovely day, despite the rain!

The tour was very good, our guide was quite informative! Kylemore Abbey was beautiful. My only disappointment was that The Quiet Man Museum was closed and this had been the main reason for taking the tour.

This was a great day trip. The bus picked us up at our hotel which we greatly appreciated. We made several stops on our way to Kylemore Abbey and each one was great to see. My only complaint is that the stop at Cong was too short. There were several places to take pictures and a great souvenir/gift shop.30 minutes was not enough time to do it all. 15 minutes more would have been nice. The stops at the lakes and fjords were very picturesque. The walk through Ross Errily Friary was interesting. The highlight of the trip was Kylemore Abbey where we had 2 1/2 hours. That was perfect. It gave us enough time to walk slowly through the gardens, see the first floor of the house and the church and mausoleum. We enjoyed every minute of the day.

The abbey and friary were great - and reasonably priced for the booking fees (bus, driver, guide etc).

The driver was fantastic and funny.

The company - Galway Tours - was appalling. No markings on the buses, no signs for which tour went where, when, or how. And the office had no signage at all. We only found it at the last minute as we wandered around with the other lost travelers.

Each location was seen at its best as the sun was shining the whole day. Connemara is really Gods country and showed why Ireland is the Emerald Isle. A must visit for anyone on the West coast of Ireland. The bus company provided an excellent driver who did not impart too much when talking, but gave enough information about the sites as was needed.

Our driver "Michael" was amazing. He could drive the BIG bus smoothly and told us the detailed history, facts of places and even sang a beautiful song. He made the trip very interesting. We enjoyed it very much. Michael was an asset to the tour company. He was also very polite.
