Know More about this tour

You leave Dublin at 8am and travel west. On your way across the green plains of central Ireland, you stop off for a refreshment and comfort break.

The landscapes begin to become impressively rugged as you arrive in Cong. This beautiful little town is famous for featuring in the Oscar-winning movie, The Quiet Man.

You choose what to do here. You can spend your time taking gorgeous photos of the castle and river, learn about the Augustine Monastery, or simply enjoy a large and delicious local lunch.

After youve had your fill of the quaint village sights, we venture to the scenic delights of Lough Corrib. This is the second largest lake in Ireland and is surrounded by the smooth slopes of the Connemara Mountains. Your friendly guide will help you try and spot the wildlife that scurries about here.

Now you can sit back, relax, look out your window, and watch the greatest show on earth. You wind down epic roads, over gorgeous vistas, and past stunning mountains as your guide drives you through the wilderness of Connemara. Theyll also tell you about the local legends that this land is famous for.

You take a photo stop at the Quiet Man Bridge before wandering over the Mollycullen Bogs. Youre wrong to thing this bleak landscape is lifeless. The peatlands host an incredible array of wildlife, while at the same time the peat itself was used as fuel throughout Ireland.

Your last stop is the famous town of Galway. You should have around two hours here. This means you have time to buy local gifts for your friends, take in the atmosphere and tastes at a local pub, or enjoy the medieval architecture and cobbled lanes.

You arrive in Dublin in the evening at approximately 8pm.
