You will be picked up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido at 8am and head south with your bilingual guide aboard a van. On the way, see different rural communities in the beautiful Oaxaca Coast and learn some facts about them from your guide.

If you'd like, you can stop for breakfast at one of the rural communities and enjoy a regional dish of cheese, organic chicken eggs, quesadillas, beef jerky or sausage, coffee, and hand-made fresh corn tortillas (breakfast not included). You'll arriveat the Archaeological site of Copalita, which is the only discovered to date in the Oaxaca Coast on the shores of the Pacific Ocean.

Here, you'll first visit the local museum(not included tickets) to see the different archaeologicalpieces and learn of the history of the 16 ethnic groups that exist in the state of Oaxaca as well as the description of codices of the ancient Indigenous people. Later, you willenter the Eco-Archaeological Park to see the threepyramidal bases discovered so far. These are the Temple of the Snake, The Ball Game Court, and the Templo Mayor with all the enigmatic history that this place holds.

You'll continue walking in the archaeologicalarea and get excellent views of the Pacific Ocean and visit a Pre-hispaniclighthouse in the upper parts of the area. You'll then head to other viewpoints outside of the Archaeological site and reach Entrega beach where you can snorkel. Then, you can enjoy a good seafood meal at Maguey beach and if you still have energy your guide can take you to theMuseum of Oaxacan handicrafts to buy some.

Your tour ends with hotel drop-off in Puerto Escondido at 7pm.
