Know More about this tour

Hop aboard your sightseeing cruise boat in Nyhavn or Ved Strand in central Copenhagen. Take a seat in the boat's lower saloon or stroll around the deck, admiring the city sights as you cruise. Canals zigzag through Copenhagen, and the city's top waterfront sights appear around every twist and turn.

- Watch out for attractions like the Little Mermaid, an iconic Edvard Eriksen statue, carved to look like a character from a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale. Learn the history of Copenhagen as your onboard guide points out key sights.

- Hear about Amalienborg Castle seat of the Danish royal family since the 18th century while admiring the site's elegant facade, and gaze at Copenhagen opera house, a futuristic-looking building that juts out onto the waterfront.

- Glide through Christianshavn canal quarter and hear trivia about King Christian IV, who established the neighborhood in the early 17th century. The area is home to several of the city's quirky sights such as the Church of our savior (Vor frelsers kirke) with its elaborate spire.

Pass the Old Stock exchange near the island of Slotsholmen, and then return back to the start point hopping off your boat at either Nyhavn or Ved Strand.

A really lovely way to see some of the highlights of this beautiful city thanks to Janos’ very clever, informative and extremely funny live commentary in three languages - no less! Interesting facts, historical information and clever jokes and puns flowed off Janos’ tongue for the whole hour! Great tour and v highly recommended!

This is a fun and easy way to get an overview of the city worth as bit of history thrown in. Audio is in multiple languages. Good even on a rainy day.

The Canal cruise is a must if you visit Copenhagen. A wonderful way to see the city we were lucky the weather was perfect and Copenhagen is such a pretty place.

Easy to find. Short lines to get on the ship. Friendly staff. Throughly enjoyed the tour. If I go back I will take tour again.

The Copenhagen canal tour was great! We stayed in a hotel near the Central Station (train) and we were able to walk to the canal tour.

  • 10-Sep-2019

Our guide was delightful! Happy, smiling, lots of interesting information all delivered in an upbeat manner. Yes, it rained while we were on tour but we had a great time in the orange plastic rain ponchos she gave us.

Very pleasant boat ride to see all the sights. These boats are not covered, so be prepared if it rains. We got caught in the rain, the guide did hand out rain ponchos before the boat left the dock. It did help, but you can get wet. The guide did a great job under the circumstances.

The guide was informative. good value for money. something to do on a rainy day in Copenhagen. An easy way to see the sights.

  • 26-Aug-2019

Travelled with the family, red plastic rainwear was provided when it started to rain, but wasn’t needed for more than five minutes. Tour took in several sights with a good commentary. The highlight for many is the Little Mermaid, but bear in mind that although the boat goes close, you only see her from the side and back, plus there are often many tourists on the land who will be in the photos you take of the statue.
It was a pleasant way to spend an hour.

The tour leader was very knowledgeable and eloquent. I learned far more about Hungary than if I took a lesser tour or just walked around a museum. He found creative ways to infuse valuable knowledge about Budapest History while showing us interesting sights and we also stopped for coffee and strudel and had a chance to talk and socialize with other travelers. I would strongly recommend doing a walking tour in any visit to an old city, and I can’t imagine finding a better one than this.
